I need help coming up with realistic bullet physics.

I'm trying to make a first-person shooter game, but I'm having trouble creating realistic bullets.  By realsitic, I mean that the bullet hole gets smaller the farther away you fire from yourself, the farther you shoot the bullet, the longer before its impact, and possibly gravity for the bullets?  I was almost able to make this work, but the only problem was that I wasn't really able to make the bullets go fast enough, and sometimes they went past where you aimed, because my scripting was buggy.  Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could help me come up with a bullet script?  It would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Yes, it did actually.  I believe it will work well for the enemies that fire at you.
