This is Crunchyroll's discription for shugo chara:
Amu Hinamori is a 5th grade transfer student who is fashionably cool, tough and independent. Despite this, she is also a girl who seems unapproachable, both at home and at school. In reality, the "Cool and Spicy" role she plays is just a facade that she unconsciously plays. With her guardian characters, she fights the Easter Company who is extracting people's eggs to create X Eggs & X Characters in search of a special egg called the Embryo.

Ichigo Kurosaki is a teenager who has the ability to see ghosts.  This quickly gains him popularity among spirits.  But this ability seems mundane compared to soul reaper Rukia Kuchiki, who helps wandering spirits of earth to pass over.  After an accident involving self-sacrifice (how original!), Ichigo is left with her powers and responsiblities.

That wasn't from anywhere.  That's my memory of the first episode.

P.S.  Yeah Rukia didn't die.  Just lost her powers.  Now go watch the first episode.  I watched the first episode of YOUR favorite WITHOUT a description.  You should be happy with mine.

P.P.S. Watch the subs.  The dubs are ALL the WORST EPISODE OF ALL TIME.

I know they are but IMO the games are usually better than the anime with Pokemon.

Ilike clannad, but i stopped watching it after mrs. angel, or demon i forget lifs her shirt. But it is a very good story.
