I have never gotten an error on my Mac that has shut it down, and never got a virus. However, on my PC, I get lots of BSODs... so yah, discuss flaws in certain computers.

First of all, Macs are not better than Windows PCs.
Every computer at some point is going to get an error that makes it crash. The fact that your Mac hasn't either means it will soon, or you are lieing.
Also, you are lucky that you haven't ever gotten a Mac virus. They do exist though, and I hope you are running an AV.
Your PC might just be a (r@ppy one (Dell?). My 3 year old HP laptop has only ever gotten a BSOD 3 times (all 3 my fault).
On topic: I have never seen a Dell run for longer than 4 years. I guess that could be a flaw.

I use my PC for Steam, and not much is wrong with it, except, well... let's just say:

It's a Windows 7, one of the best Windows... and here's the thing. The best PC is about as good as the best Mac. However, there are less GOOD PCs than good Macs, and since the bad PCs (like dell) are cheap and used at schools, it gives PC a bad image. Just saying. And no, I'm not lucky not to get a Mac viruses, most people are virus free on Macs.
Also, I had the Mac for about 5 years, and the PC for about 1 1/2. Go check out Mac VS PC, none of the things they say are lies sadly.

You most likely give your information to scamming sites without knowing a lot of the time.

I've kernel panic'd on a Mac every time I used Scratch. Coincidence? I think not.
Also, I have a Dell computer running Windows XP and Ubuntu 10.10 on Wubi and it runs perfectly fine and nearly never crashes. Just sayin'.

Scam sites can't cause kernel panics/BSODs.

What is it, a Mac 7? Also, I doubt you actually USE that Dell.

I prefer Mac for casual use and Windows for games/programming, but that's just my opinion. They're both computers made by different companies, and have their own strengths and weaknesses, so you can't say one is definitely better than the other.

Right, the Apple website isn't biased at all

If degscratcher was Emperor of the World, we'd all be using Macs.

"HELLO! BILLY JOBS HERE, WITH A MAC! LET ME SHOW YOU THIS OLD BROKEN WINDOWS ON A DELL WITH A REALLY BAD MOUSE, AND COMPARE IT TO A PRISTINE MODERN MAC! YOU CAN ALREADY TELL MACS ARE BETTER THAN WINDOWS!"
I must agree, but bias is part of marketing.

This topic seems like definite flamebait, so I'm closing this for now. Your original post comes across as extremely confrontational, which only adds to the drama. It's perfectly fine to have your own opinions, but posting topics that are bound to stir up heated debate is always a bad idea.
