Im rather confused. I want to know wether Portal or Portal2 is Violent at all. The rating for P2 is E10+, but my friend said he wasnt allowed to play it because of all the violence, and that was coming from someone who plays FPS all the time. But again, E10+? plus ive looked at some reviews and they all say stuff like "The only FPS game with no shooting!" not to mention it IS a puzzle solving game, so... ya. Please tell me if its violent or not! TYVM!

PFFT, it's not violent. Mario is more violent than Portal 2.

Like Smash Brothers, it was over rated in the ESRB

In fact the amount of violence in either Portal or Portal2 was minimal.

In Portal 1, whenever a turret shoots you, blood splatters on the wall behind you, but that's the only violence. In portal 2, however, this does not happen.

Portal 1 and 2 have very little violence. The worst it gets in P1 is the bloodsplatter when a turret hits you, and in P2, Wheatley trying to kill you with spikes.

So? It's only rated T because of ONE minor swear and blood splatter. While Portal 2 was Rated E10+ because of Overuse of minor swears.

Also, the things that are supposed to kill you (Turrets) are kind of cute big_smile

But if your friend plays FPS games and he couldn't get portal due to violence, his parents are kinda dumb.

actually its his sister, his sister told his parents that he couldnt play 'cuz it was to violent and innapropriate hmm

Not really a cheat. A cheat would be using noclip.
And I didn't think you had to change sv_cheats to 1, you only have to do that to spawn stuff and use noclip.
