Well, while I make projects I often think of ways Scratch could make animating so much easier (what I often do, but this works for gaming too).

Sorry if these have already been suggested!!!

Perhaps a block where you can turn up/down on a specific sound.

Example, you have two sounds, A, and B.

The block would say Volume for A (100). Then you could change it. You could also change the A to B, or whatever other sounds you have.

Hope that made sense, I'm not too good at explaining things.

Second, how about a pause/volume button on the Scratch Project Player/Flash Player? Sometimes I have to do something while in the middle of watching/playing a project, and when I do the animations either done,I got "Game Over", etc when I get back. Then I have to re-start the project. And sometimes I need to just turn down the volume on the Scratch Project, not my whole computer. (I saw the mute button idea, so similar to that.)

Third, how about avatars for the forums? (Pictures under your name)

Sorry if I'm not allowed to have one suggestion at a time. I'm not used to the Scratch Forums, I'm used to following the rules on the forum I'm a moderator for ^^"

Nope, it's perfectly fine. smile For future reference, there's a useful thread by Chrischb here that goes over many common suggestions that, unfortunately, have been denied for one reason or another. (Your third suggestion was actually covered in part 8, so feel free to read that for an explanation regarding forum avatars.)

I do like the idea of finer sound control, such as being able to adjust individual sounds. Perhaps there would be a single block with a drop-down to select which sound's volume to adjust?

I also like the idea of adjusting the volume of a playing Scratch project. It would be nice for when a project is too loud (or I don't want to hear it at all) but I don't want to adjust my system volume.

I agree with Harakou, it the volume control block would have a drop-down (%S as a matter of fact, lol).
You can open up volume mixer (Windows) and adjust the volume of the Scratch player. smile

The avatars in the forums thing has already been denied. We don't need this because we pretty much have them, but better. Our signatures already work as avatars except you can put more than an avatar in. The rest are awesome!
