I think Scratch should have a private messaging system.

Why?

1) Many 'Scratchers' do not have an e-mail, from what I have found out, and I can't talk to them privately for private issues (My beta testing for Jewel Rpg 2). With this PM system I would be able to contact the person privately, with out having other people reading it; because I am forced to contact them by commenting on their projects.

2) I have seen many disputes on Scratch that I would not have liked to seen... Plagiarism Issues especially. With the PM system, the person can PM them and resolve the conflict in private, instead of FLAMING the projects comment system or Blacklisting their name on the forums or making a project to blacklist them.

the scratch team already said they're not doing this (http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=6992)
if a scratcher doesn't have an email, oh well. on most forums, you can have a pm system, make a free forum with forumotion which is what I used to make my forum and you can have a pm system

I am not talking chat rooms.
I am talking about having Private Messages...not Instant messaging.
Yes the forums have a PM system and the scratch website should have one aswell...
not chatrooms, I would really like if they created a public chatroom.
