What about the magical tree that floats in an igloo in Antarctica?
And guys, I think we all know there's a problem in your lists. Archmage is the most legendary, one of the most famous. He's definitely in the top 5. I mean, SM is famous, but only recently (Well, not too recently, but still), while Archmage was famous for a looong time.
The problem is that most people here are mostly forumers, so they post a lot of forumers as famous people, so, define please, famous on the forums or on the website?

What about Rhy?
Yeah, I guess so. He was famous, but now he might be a little infamous, as he insulted everyone on Scratch. But I guess that goes for the tree as well.

Hard to tell. First, it's different for forums and Scratching. And even there we could split into animators, programmers, forumers, misc-ers, and TBGers.
I'd say for animators SkyStar and SpriteMaster have been popular for a long while. I don't really follow animations though so I can't really tell.
For programmers, the most skilled IMO are archmage, m44, RHY, illusionist, Jack and JPB. Out of these archmage and m44 are the most legendary, and RHY and illusiont are pretty popular.
On the forums, we've got all of the mods/STeam, which people know well. Then we have nXIII who did his part a while ago and is now inactive, ssss, PFreak, sparks, me, and generally many others who might have less posts but are more recent.
On misc it's definitely our Jedward fan (TDD), and too many for me to name. Just too many.
TL;DR
SpriteMaster, archmage, RHY, illusionist, me, sparks, nXIII, TDD

How about rufflebee and... Let's see... PW123 on the forums? They were active Miscers (Well, I think PW123 is still a miscer, though. Ruffle disappeared randomly, no?)
And veggie is correct, though LS97 is on there the most On the forum, unfortunately the most famous people are Miscers, even though I think it should be people from AT and AAS.

LS97, for forums you just listed all the people that hang out in Advanced Topics -________-
Of course! That's the most spirited forum! AAS is more varied, wheras it's difficult to get a big change of people in AT. Oh, I forgot Magnie.

I am recently popular I guess but not as near as any of those others. But I am popular by recentness. (wow that is a word!)
