Weezer Youth is an organization based on getting our youth into better music.

Being an Alternative/rock/blues music fan, I don't like the overly simple new pop music. I am a Weezer fan, and my friends make fun of me for that.
I don't know any other Weezer fans younger than sixteen, and that is what this organization is about.

Our goal is to start getting more young people to appreciate "real" music.
I see young people all the time singing pop hits, which are not good these days.

We hope to at least improve their taste in music at least a little bit, starting off easy with softer rock bands like The Cars, The Killers, and of course, Weezer.

Start with your friends. Bug them into listening to a Weezer type band, or maybe burn them a copy of The Blue Album. (That trick worked on one of my friends.) Then try and get them on the site.
The site will help them talk and learn about their new music, and just have a freindly environment for talking.

If you are already a fan, I will make you a moderator, and you can join in conversation and hopefully help others and have fun as well.
