Okay, here we go.
Let's say I like this girl at my school. she says she likes someone else who hates her, and she knows! I think she's hiding something... Someone who USED to be my good friend is now jealous(but he dosen't like her) and acts like a complete jerk when I'm around her, * off both me and her. Most of my other good friends are using this knowledge against me, saying I'm a "sad, lonly and tragic person and no one will ever love me". And the girl just wants to stay friends, but I'm not sure. 2 of her friends are on my bus and say that she doesn't like me. What's going on??
Please give me some advice! How can I:
1. Get the girl to like me
2. Know if she really wants to stay friends
3. Get my jerkish friend to * off and leave us (me and her) alone
4. Get my good friends to SHUT UP!
Both answers and good advice are helpful!
Extras:
Keep in mind that this is Middle School
We do have dances
Both of us are too young to date
Sorry, i feel really uncomfortable to post this, but I did.

A "jerkish friend" is highly redundant. Is he/she using peer pressure to force you to be his/her friend? If so, RESIST.
1. All I can recommend is the following: BE NICE! If she really hates you, she will get really cold towards you. If not, great! Some girls like to spread rumours because it makes them feel big and important.
2. Actually, see #1! Got a little ahead of myself there...
3. Don't actually tell him to "* off". Water finds its own level - ignore him, and he will go hang out with other jerks. If he is friends with your friends... that could be a problem. But if the jerkiness is contagious, AVOID THEM ALL until it blows over. Some people can change very suddenly like that, but it works in the opposite direction. (I know this from experience.)
4. Easy way to tell them to shut up - just tell them that they're getting annoying. But don't push their buttons by getting really annoyed. If they are your friends (you seem to be in a confusing situation), they will stop.
I am in " middle school", at least, grade 6. At my school, that is considered Junior High.
You have dances?! Lucky!
Too young to date is OK. Most of my friends are girls, but nobody never introduces real romance, except as a bad joke.
I hope this helps, and it's great that you aren't trying to take this by yourself! I wasn't always nice... so i think i know what you're talking about.

Thanks SO MUCH Big bang!
Actually, the "jerkish friend" is friends with my friends, and what a problem it is!
She dosen't hate me. actually, we talk quite a bit together. about 10-20 secs a day.
You don't have dances?!
If u canm also answer this 2, it'll b great.
Some guys are trying to make fun of and insult her. I tried to somewhat defend her, and now theyre insulting me. Any tips?
Sorry, I know youre not a advice genie, but please! it seems u know alot about this stuff.

I've just had a... rough time, e.g. a total lack of judgment when I was younger. The "jerkish friend" seems to not like you much. That's OK, because unless her dislike of you spreads, if you let her live her own life, you shouldn't have much trouble.
If people are insulting everything you like, they are JERKS in every sense of the word. If they use "gay" as an insult, you have a world of opportunity right in front of you. Gay also means "happy", and if you agree (and ignore them from then on), they will snigger, laugh, tell their friends, but after the "novelty" has passed and friends of friends of the original jerks stop laughing at you, you will slip under the radar. Seriously. They will ignore you. Another thing jerks can't stand is politeness in the heat of yet another one-sided "battle". Their brains freeze up because they don't have the proper pathways to cope. Just a few ways to "reboot" morons

Big-Bang, You are totally correct! Ignore the bullies, don't say anything, vent with a very nice game of SSBB. Nice Way to let off steam. Just hang out with friends who don't care. As For the girl, I have no clue. I am not that far yet, even though I am older than you. (High School)

I don't have Brawl... but it's fun. I'm saving up at my allowance level of... $5.00 per week! Yay...

Uggg this brings back bad memories of middle school.... I hated middle school
Basically, just ditch any friends who are jerks and don't worry about relationships with girls. That what works for me.
Also, a lot of the advice in this thread is less than good. Try asking you parents for advice more often.

I will only answer #1
1. even though I have never had a girlfriend I can say this the only way to know if you like her is just flat out ask her, yes it makes you nervous, it is maybe the last thing U want to do, but it is the best way to get it over with, if she says "no" you're out of luck you can just say "ok" and a few other words and then leave her alone because if you keep asking then you will be considered a stalker and very annoying person
good luck

Yeah dude you should just ask her out. I just recently (two days ago) had 2 help a friend with this. He me if i would go up to the girl he liked best friend and ask her if the girl he liked liked him. I said i wouldn't, and told him to just ask her out. She said no, so he moved on. No harm, no foul
and i have expierence myself cause i have a girlfriend

I know for a fact that some bullies with never leave you alone. At my old school if you said you were "gay"(agreeing I mean) then you will NEVER hear the end of it.
