GOOD NEWS!!
I almost have the server 100% ready. It should be done by tomorrow. Did you hear that? TOMORROW! I'm using a minecraft host, so it should be easier. I'm working on a website for this. If you want to see what I have so far, please visit MVS.webs.com (If you didn't notice, MVS stands for MineVille Server). Although our hosting is very cheap, I still need all of the donations I can get. You don't know how much even ONE dollar can help us. This is a new host that I have not tried before, so sorry if I say something that can't be done.
This map SHOULD be able to include the following:
A nice town, where people can set up shops, and houses
Snowball fights between 5:00 and 6:00 (I'll put the minecraft time on the website)
Live weather so when it's raining at my house, it'll be raining on the game!
I would love to make anyone who asks to be a mod, but only around seven people can be on the server at once, and I already have a request. If you would like to become a mod, please consider donating so more people can join the server at once.

It had been saying that to me before, do you know how I can fix it??

Anyone know how to fix this? It's not working for me. I have to type
Localhost. Do you think it would help if I used hamachi, and my local ip?

It might mean the server's down, but I'm not sure.
I have my own server run on my own computer. My
Server is
Working fine, I just need to log in as localhost.

A while ago, I made a minecraft server, for scratchers ony, but, for some reason, I couldn't get onto the server myself

Did you whitelist yourself last time?

Well, yes, but that wasn't the problem, the problem was I couldn't log on because I got the 'end of stream' error. I figured out if I typed localhost for the IP instead of my IP, it let me in. The only thing is, the server wont work for anyone else. How can I fix this? I'll try to re download the server. I'll let you know if it works.

just try restarting the server (not your computer)

I think you have to port forward the server... And people can connect on

I already did port forward it. If I make another server on the same computer, will I have to port forward again?

I have a few problems right now with the server. I'll show some when I get it back up.

I can't figure out what could be wrong! I restarted the server, I restarted my computer, I reinstalled my server, I reinstalled JAVA, I tried running it with hamachi, I did port forward, I read somewhere that it may help to defrag my computer, I'm doing it now, I installed something that should have helped, and I just don't know what else to do! I would really like some help! I tried to log into my server on my computer, and it only works by logging into the server with the IP localhost. It doesn't work with my IP.
HELP!!

Is that your internal or external IP?
And try a different port, like 25566...
Oh, I'm not sure if its my external or internal. I know I got it from IPchicken. Where should I get it from? Also, if I want to use differet port, I'll have to port forwad again right?

Disable the old one. Then, make a new one on port 25566.
Ok, but will I have to port forward again on the new port?

Yes.
what would be the easiest way to port forward? I tried typing my local ip into my browser and doing it from there, but it said the server is too busy, try again later. I tried again, and still didn't work. Are there any other ways to port forward?
