Proper Ai

Okay guys I know there is another topic based on it but still. Okay I just need some pointers for Ais. Check out my project, Ball Fighters, that has Ai. Do you have some tips to make the AI better?

A computer. You know like you program it so it is like a computer for Super Smash bros brawl, that type of computer.

Ah, it may seem that way. My account is new. I've actually been Scratching for 2 months, and Artificial Intelligence is basically a way that something (in tech-talk, most often a computer), can act like a human uncontrolled.

What I usually do is act like the CPU is another player. Just automaticize the multiplayer factors. Like, for example, instead of using up,down,left,right, or WASD,
I make it so that the opponent has the same speed, and tries to follow you. Then, when in a certain range, attacks. I'm not sure if this is what you did, or something, but that's what I try to do. I still struggle, and that's all the advice I can give. I'll try downloading it and seeing what you did. Your still probably more experienced than I am.

Well I did not do attacks but I made it so the CPU follows me.

Guys, let's be respectful. Calling someone a jerk isn't acceptable, ever.

As to your question - there's really no way to answer it, because AIs are an ever-changing subject area, and each one is different. Just think about what you'd like it to do, and see how you'd accomplish that. There's no way to explain it.
