I'm currently a new scratcher, and I'm willing to wait to become a scratcher, but does anybody know how long it takes, or what you have to do to become a scratcher? Is it time, forum posts, projects, comments, favorites, love-it's, tags, views, a combination of the above, or just random? Or perhaps a member of the scratch team has to approve it? Yes, I know that people have posted lots of threads about this, but it doesn't seem like anyone has posted a guideline to what you have to do to become a scratcher yet. Does anyone know? Thanks for reading.

You need to post more than 5 posts to become a scratcher. It took me a few hundred.
He/she was just asking how long it would take.

Hmm... So it sounds like it has a lot to do with the forums. But is it time active or number of posts? Also, what does active mean? I know the definition, but is it just time since your first post or the number of posts you have? Also, it says on the suggestions page that my account is new. Is this separate? Or will I also be able to do that when I'm a full scratcher? Once again, thanks for reading, you didn't have to read this and I appreciate you for reading it.

Active is like posting projects often, and posting a lot on the forums. It takes everyone a different amount of time to become a scratcher. Try to post like 5 posts at least a day on the forums to make it go quicker. And post projects every few days or less.
