The Matrix (1999) - epic slo-mo action scenes, man!
E.T. the Extra-terrestrial (1982) - Sometimes being best friends with an alien could create a psychic bond of some sort!
All Pixar movies (with the exception of Up) - the Toy Story Trilogy is the all-time best.
Inception (2010) - Most mind-bending cerebral sci-fi ever.
Planet of the Apes (1968) - Epic makeup and acting. Better than 2001 by a lightyear.
My all-time faves. All of them are sci-fi instead for every other Pixar movie that isn't WALL-E.

YES! Hello fellow Pixar fan

E.T- I love that movie as well! Haven't seen it in a while though...

I guess Incredibles could be sci-fi also...but yeah.
I am a TOTAL fan of sci-fi, though. It is better than ANY other genre, including high fantasy.

It's what you call an illegitimate child. Now back on topic.
Isn't it spelled with an e in the movie?
