Angry Frequencies - My Demo Album

Angry Frequencies

I recently got into producing music, and I decided to put together some sounds, beats, and loops that I've made in the past few months. This is my first ever album(demo album, no full songs), so sorry if the sounds aren't that great. All the songs, and the entire album, is free to download.

All feedback is appreciated  big_smile

Sounds nice! I think some of them would form into songs quite nicely!  big_smile

I'd suggest a few more organic sounding sounds like the piano, because they sound nice when melded with the thumps and wobbles.

Man, I sure hope veggie hasn't started a fad... any way, it uh...not bad. Why, may I ask are all the songs under 30 seconds?

They're not really songs, just beats and loops that other people can use  smile

And don't worry - veggieman's album was made up of full-length songs. This is just my demo album so I can get a reaction from people towards how they like what I make.

Pretty cool, you play them all on a keyboard?

Yeah....a keyboard synthesizer. I have a grand piano in real life, but no mic to record what I play, so I just used synths.

Re: Angry Frequencies - My Demo Album

Some of those riffs would make pretty epic songs you know...

In "First Flight" maybe add more instruments and a fuller beat (hi-hat, snare) as the song progresses. "Calling Out" would make an EPIC boss battle-ish tune. On "Clumsy" a catchy, danceable drum beat would join in and maybe some synth.

Just some ideas  wink  Hoping to hear some full songs soon!

Thanks! I tried to make the songs more complex as in layers of the song, but I'm still experimenting as to what beats go with piano and synthesizer sounds.

Thanks!

Re: Angry Frequencies - My Demo Album

I can see that the music doesn't have a melody... perhaps you could try giving it some sounds that have more of a tune?

lol yeah, kinda. We could do a big collab sometime, I dunno  tongue

...OH WAIT! Let's revive this. Maybe not make it that long, otherwise we might not get enough submissions. I say we try to contact the creators of the 5 submitted songs (not sure if I'll still submit the same song, perhaps Frozen Coco would make one for that?) to see if they're still interested.

Yeah, most of the sounds were meant as beats, so i didn't really think they needed a melody. The loops that have different sounds in layers didn't really have a melody, so I should've fixed that. Thanks!
