This may have been asked before, but why does v30 force flash into low quality mode? Now all my pen projects look like junk, and many people are too lazy to right-click and choose "High Quality". Seriously, this is like a down-grade. I hope this is changed by the final version.

I don't see much difference. Care to link me to your problem project?

Look at the spinning pen, then right click and select High Quality. Notice the difference?

Ah, I see. I don't really care much about quality in general but I see how this could be a problem. You say v28 used to be set automatically in HQ? Then maybe Scratch could implement a user's setting for that, since I think they decided to 'go low' on quality because of some people's slow computers/graphics.
Otherwise, I guess it all just adds to the 'pre-run' settings list along with download and turbo...

Well, you never know why they might do that. For all we know it could of exploded a computer in the Scratch studios when testing it with high graphics as default!

That is excessive.
What was the topic about again? Maybe we should stop talking about exploding hamburgers (or whatever they are) and talk about the v30 player.

You're not the only one bitten by the poor pen quality bug, this project became unplayable because of that, heres the link.
