Ok, so I made this minecraft town. I started out with a all flat map, with only flatness, but then I noticed if I dig down, and try and mine, I don't find ANYTHING but dirt. Is there a way that I can make a teleporter that teleports to another map, but where people can still keep their inventory, so that they can bring a few picks, and mine there, and then bring what they found in the mine back into my server? Do you kinda understand? Another way I was thinking of, is to insert a mine into the map. Is this possible? For instance, could I make a map in minecraft with a mine, can I copy that mine, and paste it into my server? If none of these ways are possible, are there any other ways??

Probably worldedit or a premade map

If you used flendtDK's huge grass map, there's just dirt until the bedrock.

Yeah, that's kinda what I have. I didn't notice it was all dirt, until I was like half way done the server. Is there a way I can make the portal go to another map instead of the nether, or like take a mountain from another map, and put it into this map?

There's a bukkit plugin called stargate, it is probably what you want.

Ok, that WOULD WORK, but It looks like it'll only take me to another part of a single map. I don't have ANY mines in the entire map, so this still wouldn't take me to a mine. I need a portal that would take someone to like a world wide mine, or make it so I can import a mine onto this map. Any more ideas?
