Yes, I understand the whole "moving to the cloud thing," but isn't there going to be an option to download it? I've heard alot of talk about it being online, and I don't want to have to rely on my lousy internet connection to make Scratch projects. Making it only available on the internet puts up some tough boundaries.

It should probably go in suggestions.

No, AAS is fine since it's a question. And a common one too
Yes, there will be an offline version of Scratch for those who like to develop from their desktop. It will be very similar to the current Scratch, with the separate upload and everything.

Nope, as Harakou told me, that's more for modding, php (Like the Scratch like button), etc., this belongs in All About Scratch. It's not a suggestion, it's a question, and it's not modding, php, or anything advanced like that.

Ummm... The issue about the placement of this topic is pretty much sorted out. If you're going to post something, can it at least pertain to the topic?

I think where the topic should be pertains to the topic, but I think we've established it belongs here in AAS.
Yes, there will be an offline version of Scratch. I'm glad; I don't like working in applets and would much prefer a dedication application.

Yes there will be an offline version

Will the offline version just be the same or an edited version of the .swf used online? Or will it be created using Squeak?

I think flash, which is going to be an epic fail for those who own mods, because flash costs a lot of money.

wow, 9 posts of placement issues and discussion when the issue was solved by the 2nd reply...

-_-‘
They are making an online version AND an offline version. The offline version will probably still be able to be modded, and it will NOT cost money.
Do you guys understand?

By the way, the offline version is still going to be Flash! So it'll be as hard to mod one than it will be to mod the other.
