Changing the size of shapes during runtime

I'm trying to use this program to show the spreads of specific themes throughout history. In order to do this, I need to manipulate a shape to cover specific areas of a map (basically manipulating a blob to go into any direction you want it to). How do I do this?

To change the size of a shape go to looks, than find this block:   <change size by(
