You'll probably want to upload projects to the site as well - you can't become a Scratcher on forum posts alone.

You have to click "Profile" near the top of the forum, and go to "Personality". Type your sig in the text box and click "Submit".

Why can't they just make it so that after 50 posts, your account will be pending approval from teh scratch team. Then, if it passes, then you can have sigs, and be a scratcher, not new scratcher.
