rofl. its not the design what i talk about its the programming 
. the core architecture is a failproof php stream method (getting converted into a nxt genration event based server soon) + it gives 13ms latency to most of US so its fast as lightning + u can private chat there 
so ur requests can also goto ur private message box , it also has offline messaging (At the moment) so they can request / approval / suggestions when u are offline 
..
and being a HTML 5 based layout u can edit the design as per ur likes
btw as per design is concerned x( ... u will see what jQuery infects it into in the nxt version.
