My minecraft story. (I will use random people, who can ask to be removed if they want)

Day 1: Arrival
I open my eyes to greet the glaring sun, beating down around me. I turn my head so as to avoid its deadly rays and dig my hands into the sand. Sand! But, I was in bed! Why would there be sand. I shake my hands free of the stuff and open my eyes weakly. I get up and look around. No, I'm definitely not in my bed. I'm on a beach. I look at the sea, waveless, still. I think something is wrong with my eyesight, everything seems to be made of cubes. I drag my feet along the sand to the water's edge. I look into the sea and faintly make out some sort of creature. I begin to back away before realising it is just a squid. I turn around to answer my suspicions. Yes, everything is made of cubes.
I squint into the forest directly next to the beach and make out movement. I slowly advance forward. A small bird walks out from behind a tree. A chicken. But that wasn't what I'd seen. It was larger, more human shaped.
"Something wrong?" I whip around to see the owner of the voice. Another human, at least, he looks human. He seems more robotic, his features less detailed.
"Who are you?" I ask, "Where am I?"
The person smiles. "My name is TheWhiz. And you're in minecraft."
     "Mycraft?"
     "Minecraft," he corrects me.
"Right, got it. Minecraft. So, why am I here? Where is here?"
He shrugs. "We don't know. Every now and then someone appears here. I just joined a few hours ago. I wandered into the woods and met Murpho."
"So, what shall we do?" I ask.
"Hm, well you'll need a shelter for a start. We'll need wood for that."
"How do we get wood, then?" I ask. He rolls his eyes.
"Well, we get it from trees of course."
"Well, have you got a chainsaw or something?" He sighs.
     "Punch it."
     "What?"
"Punch it. Punch the tree. Don't worry, it won't hurt."
"Alright." I walk up to the closest tree, the one which the chicken had come from. I punch it for a while until the block pops out. I back off quickly, expecting the tree to fall down. At this TheWhiz just laughs.
"No, don't worry. Physics doesn't seem to work here." Slightly reassured I head back to the tree and finish it off.
And so, until nightfall TheWhiz shows me how everything works. He teaches me crafting, building and some mining. And by dusk I'm feeling quite confident although still a little confused. We had set up a small base camp in a hill. As I settle down in the  small bed TheWhizz created for me I think about the monsters TheWhiz had told me about.
The zombies- minecrafters who had died many years ago in the battle of the ghasts. The skeletons- minions of a dark lord. A minecrafter who turned bad. Driven to madness as he watched his friends slaughtered before his very eyes. In his madness he had destroyed something known as respawning. Meaning that if you die, you can't come back. TheWhiz told me of a battle that had started. The minecrafters against the dark lord. Herobrine. TheWhiz tells me how 12 minecrafters attacked the castle. They fought and fought but lost the battle. In the end only 4 survived, one later died in a raid of herobrine's minions. The three remaining were known as Murpho, Illusionist and Diadaros. Slowly I fall to sleep and wake the next morning to greet a bright sunrise.

Day 2: Skeletons and Darkness
As my eyes adjust to the new light I look around, what had started as a 5 by 5 2 high little hole. It is now a larger building with a small watchtower accessible via a ladder. TheWhiz had obviously been working through the night.
     "Morning," he says.
"Morning..." I mutter. I am at the door when TheWhiz stops me. "Are you mad?"
     "What?" I say.
"There are still creature out there, those who haven't fled to the caves will still survive the very morning."
"Well, then can't I fight them?" I ask.
"I suppose, here" He throws me a short stone sword. It's light and easy to use. I slowly peak outside the door and then sprint across to the beach. I swerve round to greet my opponents. TheWhiz had described them the previous morning. I make out 2 zombies and a spider heading towards me. I run towards the spider and swing my sword but the spider jumps out the way. I hit the zombie behind it though, so it wasn't so much of a waste. As the spider lands on me I feel a sudden ache and realise it's injuring me. I decide the spider is the main threat and leap to the side and swing my sword at the spider. I hit it but it then attacks me again, injuring me further. I attack it more until I see it dissolve and a piece of string fall in its place. I stuff it in my pocket and take on the zombies.
After a few minutes I've taken them down too, but am barely able to move. I collapse on the sand as a pair of hands grabs me. Probably a zombie, come to finish me off.
I wake up back in bed, feeling much better. I see TheWhiz standing by the bed holding a piece of pork. He gives it to me and bite it. It seems to act as some sort of medicine as I immediately feel a lot better.
     "Thanks," I mutter.
"I don't think close combat is your thing, Werd," he says. That's the first time he has said my name. "You should try out a bow." I get out of bed, intrigued by this idea.
"Can I try now?" I ask.
"Well, all the monsters are gone but we have some targets up in the village you can try." The village, which I hear is called Heralania is a good walk from the base. It is in the middle of the forest and is surrounded by a high wall. I find an entrance and see a guard.
     "Name?" he says.
"I'm TheWhiz and this is Werd, a newly spawned. The guard nods and opens the gate. I walk through and see the village. A fairly large place with lots of houses and a few shops. Whiz points to a long, clear bit of land.
"That's where we are heading." We walk up to it and Whiz passes me the bow and a handful of arrows. I load the bow and aim it towards the first target. It hits in the second outer ring. Whiz nods approvingly.
"Not bad for a first." I use the other 4 arrows and 2 get a bullseye.
"You know, you keep that bow. It's more use to you." He gives me 7 more arrows and I thank him.
     "What now?"
"Well, you have proved you could be useful in battle," he says. His voice hushes a bit and he looks around to check nobody is in earshot. "Word has it," he says, "That the remaining 3 are planning to try another attack. An attack on Herobrine's castle. They're looking for helpers. I volunteered and am now with them. I think you could be useful. Diadaros is pretty handy with a bow, you could work with him. Illusionist is leading the operation and is planning how to attack. Murpho and me will be fighting on the front line, with swords." He gives me time to go over what he has said and then continues, "In the last battle it wasn't just our side with fatalities. Herobrine's armies fell and what little resistance he had left fled in battle. But he is recruiting. He now has 24 followers. They are known as the Shadows. They are fierce and will kill anything that gets in their way..."
"I'll help," I say. "When is this attack planned for?"
"I know this won't give you much time to practise but... tomorrow."
"Well, I better get practising," I say. I go and collect the arrows I'd shot and return to Whiz. "What must I do?" I whisper, trying hard to keep the fear out of my voice.
"You'll need some armour first. And then more arrows, you only have 12 now."
     "Where do I get armour?"
"Diadaros will be willing to give you some arrows, and I'll supply the armour. But he'll need something to trade for the arrows."
     "What can I get?"
"Well, you should hunt. It's getting dark now anyway. Collect what you can. Oh, and if you get lost..." He rummages in his backpack for a minute before he brings out a compass. "Use this. It points towards where you spawned in." I take the compass, shove it in my pocket, beside the string and feathers. I give him a nod and head out the gate.
The night is cold but I resist it. I spot movement in the distance. I make out a group of skeletons. I haven't attacked any skeletons yet, so this would be a good opportunity to practise. I hide behind a nearby tree and slowly poke my head round. They haven't noticed me. I'm worried. If I shoot them they will spot me and attack in a group. They would overpower me. I have to split them up. I get an idea and shoot an arrow to the left of the group. It startles them and 2 head in the direction of the arrow. Two I can take on alone. I run out from my hiding place and shoot one in the head. It crumples over in a pile of bones and arrows.
I'm about to take out the next one when an arrow finds its way to my leg. The other 2 have spotted me. I hide behind a tree but know because of the sounds of nearby skeletons that they know I'm there. I charge out and shoot 2 arrows into the group. One finds its way into a skeletons arm and it drops to the ground, the other whizzing past them. I'm down to 8 arrows. I shoot at the remaining 2 but miss them narrowly. I shoot twice more and they both hit the closest one and it crumples down. I shoot once more and kill the last one.
7 arrows used and 4 skeletons dead. I know I would not find the arrows at this time at night so abandon the thought of retrieving them. Although there was that arrow that shot me. I can use that. I walk to the skeletons bodies and retrieve 3 arrows and 4 bones from them. I now have 9 arrows. The night seems silent so I head back to the village. But I don't make it before 2 creepers walk out from behind some trees. I shoot 3 arrows but none find their targets. I shoot again and take the first creeper down. The second gets close and explodes. I'm flown backwards into a field of long grass and am knocked unconscious. I am easy prey.

Day 3: The Journey
I finally wake and it seems I haven't been spotted. Probably hidden by the grass. The sun has just begun its rise and I start to hurry back to the village. A zombie blocks my path but I easily take him out. When I reach the village I go over my findings. 1 sulphur pile, 4 bones, 1 feather and 5 arrows left. A fairly successful trip. I walk into the village to find TheWhiz having a sword fight with someone who I assume to be Murpho. Eventually TheWhiz falls to the ground and Murpho laughs. It's just a practise battle of course.
"Ah, you must be Werdna! Whiz has been telling me about you. Got anything on your trip?" I show him my bag of stuff and he laughs. That's quite good for a start. That should be enough to buy about 20 more arrows."
"Diadaros is over there," Whiz says, pointing to somebody sitting on a bench.
"Hello Diadaros," I say. "I'd like to buy some arrows."
"Of course," he says. "What do you have to pay?" I put the string and feather from my second day in my bag and show him the contents. 3 feathers. 1 string. 1 gunpowder. 4 bones.
"I'll take the string and the gunpowder for 18 arrows. And 1 feather for another 2."
I give him the stuff and he gives me 20 arrows. I now have 25.
"I heard you were joining our little group," he says.
"Yes," I say blandly. "When are we leaving?"
"Right now," he says. "After you get your armour." I walk up to Whiz who is talking plans with Murpho.
"Whiz, I need armour!" I say.
"Yes, yes, it's in the chest," he says before continuing the discussion. I look in the chest and find a fine pair of gleaming iron armour. I slip it on and find it is very heavy, though it fits just right. Armour on, bow in hand. I think I might stand a chance against this Herobrine after all. Murpho looks at his clock and gasps.
"We should be going now," he says. Diadaros crosses over to me, Whiz and Murpho. They wait for Illusionist to arrive before heading off. Herobrine's castle is in some far away mountains across the sea. The walk across the forest is short and uneventful, except for the occasional zombie which Murpho and Whiz take out alone. Eventually they get to the sea and Werd asks:
     "How do we get across?"
Murpho replies, "You, Whiz and Illusionist will go by boat. Me and Dia will swim." He then places down 3 boats into the water. I step into it and look across the water. I see nothing, just water as far as I can see. How Murpho and Dia will get across I do not know. Anyway, the boat is easy enough to control and I quickly get the hang of it. The boat ride takes about 10 minutes before something happens. Illusionist has crashed his boat on a rock. Whiz and I get out our boats and swim over to the rock we stop on the rock for a quick break before looking back. Murpho and Dia are nowhere in sight. Whiz decides he can swim and gives his boat to Illusionist. After a minute we're back on track. After another 5 minutes we hit land. We dock our boats in some reeds and sit down on the beach while we wait for the others. Whiz of course is the first to arrive. We wait 20 minutes with no sight of the others before we decide to go looking for them.
That's when we hear the scream.
Whiz is on before we know what's happened. He's swimming through the sea faster than we can run! We follow behind him in the boats. We find Murpho on the rock Illusionist crashed on.
"They took him!" Murpho shouts. "The squids, they, they, I don't know. Something happened and Dia was sucked under. I tried to help but he drowned before I could save him. One man down already. It takes a while to calm Murpho down and the sun is setting. They decide to make camp on the rocks. We lie down and go to sleep, leaving Illusionist guard.

Day 4: The Battle
We wake the next day and set off straight away. After 10 minutes we're all gathered at the beach. Me and Illusionist scout the area checking for traps or monsters. The terrain was hilly with few trees. Far east is a desert and up from the beach is a group of tall mountains. We encounter a group of spiders but we are fully loaded with food so it's not a problem. Illusionist points to a mountain.
"On that mountain is Herobrine's base. The last time we attacked we had a distinct disadvantage which was the fact that as we climbed the mountain herobrine's armies could shoot down on us. By the time we'd got to the top we only had 8 left. Then there was the battle. 3 died in that and 1 died as we fled. But we have better plans now. We are going to attack from another mountain. We will create a bridge going  from one to the other.  But we also have another advantage. There are a group of minecrafters hidden in a cave in the mountain we're attacking from. On our side. There are 14 of them, making 18 of us. But their weapons are not great. Stone or wooden swords. Some have no weapons at all and are going to fight with their fists." We walk back down to the others. We tell them that the coast is clear and we should go in now. We walk up the hills and across the valleys until I make out a small opening in the side of a large mountain. We pick up pace a bit and are there in minutes. We greet the 14 minecrafters and Murpho and Illusionist discuss the plans with them.
Finally they are ready to go. 6 of the group carry wood for the bridge. The others hold swords or nothing. A few have basic armour, leather and a few iron. We go out the cave and head up the mountain. It's hard and we end up going in a sort of zigzag fashion. Finally we reach the top and stop for a rest. Murpho is handing out some better armour and swords to the group of 14. Whiz gives 3 of them bows and arrows.
The 6 go to the edge and discuss how to do the bridge. Finally they work out a plan and begin to lay out the bridge. It takes a surprisingly short time and they are well over half way before they are spotted. Arrows fly whizzing past us. 1 hits the first builder and he trips and falls over the edge. I grit my teeth and fire back. Not many of the 24 followers can use a bow. I think I can see 6 of them with bows although most are seem very inexperienced with them and miss the bridge by a long way. After a while one of the group shoots down a follower. He collapses on the ground pushing another off the mountain. 2 down, 23 to go.
By the time we reach the end 3 of ours had gone down. The ones with swords charge at the followers and a big battle rages. I shoot madly and see followers dropping down now and then.
"Retreat!" Murpho shouts, "Back to the mountain, we can-" That's when the sword slashes him down his back. He falls forward onto the ground. My arrow hits the killer before he can realise what's happening. The group retreats except for a few who stay to hold off the followers. The group meets in the middle of the bridge. We count who's left. 10. There were the 3 who died on the bridge. And then 3 must have died in the battle. An then there's Murpho, lost in battle. We sigh and look back towards the castle. And that's when we see the TNT.
The group splits up, running to different ends of the bridge. Some of us don't make it and are blown up. Illusionist is one of them. I watch as the last surviving member of the original group of attackers is blown to pieces. All the minecrafters who had the planks are now dead so it cannot be fixed. I look around. 3 died in the explosion and 2 are now on the other side of the bridge. There's just 5 of us left able to fight. Me, Whiz and 3 minecrafters. We fight through the night until it's just me, whiz and 1 minecrafter, but the 2 who got split off have found the resources to build a bridge. They join the fights until all the followers are dead. We realise that some people haven't died, but just collapsed. We go round healing them as much as we can. By the end of it we have 7 people. Me, Whiz and 5 minecrafters. But the fight is not over. We still have to destroy Herobrine.

Day 5: Herobrine
We group together and try to work out a plan. The gate into the castle is open. The followers opened it. We creep through and decide to split up in search of Herobrine. We will meet back at the gate in 5 minutes. I go with 2 minecrafter, 2 others go together, and Whiz goes with 1. My group heads through a maze of tunnels and stairs. We search various rooms and find a stock of weapons and armour. We take some of this to re-prepare ourselves. All the arrows have been taken into battle though. I now have just 2 arrows. The rest of the group takes new armour and better swords. We then continue through the caste until we decide to head back.
At the gate we meet with the others. Whiz says he saw him in a tower. He says he has diamond armour and diamond weapons. He's also pretty handy with a bow. We decide we can only attack him in a group. We need to make him come down to meet us. I suggest using my old strategy of shooting to get their attention. They agree and I head up another tower while the group heads to the bottom of Herobrine's. They give the signal that they are ready - A bird's hoot - and I take out my bow, load it and shoot at Herobrine. Of course it merely bounces off with his armour but it's enough to alert him. He picks up his sword and runs down the tower. I signal back to the group and run to meet them.
When I get there a battle is already going on. Five of them are already fighting him. I see the sixth lying motionless on the floor. Herobrine is swinging his sword, knocking the group back. It dawns on me that the armour will defend any attack. It must have a weak spot... And there it is! A small gap in the neck. This is my chance. I shoot with my last arrow at the gap and he cries in pain. As a last attack he explodes! He sends the group flying, killing all of them.

Including me.

Re: The Mountaintop Attack (Minecraft FanFic)

This is continued from the first one but is a new story.

Pyramid X

Day 6: Life and Death
Or does it?
I pick up a bit of rubble in my one remaining usable hand. But the effort of the movement is to much and i just let my hand drop back down. I breath slowly, only to inhale a cloud of soot and dirt. I painfully turn my head in slow jerks to face to the side. I can't make much out in the dirt and dust but I see movement. Someone must have survived. And that's when it hits me. That I must be alive as well. I form a small smile and then close my eyes into unconsciousness.
When I open them I'm laid out on the grass somewhere. I carefully open my eyes and make out a handful of other survivors. I see Murpho lying on the ground next to me. Perhaps he survived after all. I see two other minecrafters. One looks bloody and covered in dust. He must have been in the explosion that ended it all. I wince my head round and see one more Minecrafter on my other side. So five of us survived. I gradually inch myself up onto my knees. I look around and recognise the place as the hills surrounding the mountain. But how did we get here?
That's when I see the 12 other minecrafters standing above us. They look tired, but strong. I try to ask them something but all I manage to let out is a low moaning sound. I decide to rest for a while to regain my strength. I watch the sun set and see the minecrafters lie down and begin to sleep.
But then who will protect us from the monsters? I suspect one of them was supposed to stay guard but fell asleep. I try waking one but with no result. I sigh and realise I can't wake them. Maybe I could try? No, not alone. But I could get Murpho, he seems in fair condition. I rouse him and he agrees. And not a second to soon. We see a large group of zombies advancing on us.
"You take the left ones I'll take the right," I manage to say. He agrees and we pick up our weapons and go in to the fight.
Then I notice I'm out of arrows. "Out of arrows!" I shout to Murpho.
"Give it here, you take this." He says and chucks me his long, iron sword. I throw my bow to him, confused how he'll use it. I watch him as he takes on the first zombie. He's picking up sticks off the ground and using them as arrows! I smirk and swing my sword at the first zombie. But in this condition and with my lack of sword skill I don't do too well. One of the zombies gives me a nasty cut on my right arm and the next makes me fly back into the air and land in some grass with a groan. Murpho notices my distress and shoots an arrow- well, stick- at he advancing zombie.
He then runs over to me, grabs his sword and runs into the zombies. I've never seen so many, there must be at least fifty! I see Murpho disappear into the group and they all go after him. Will he manage to survive? I doubt it, there are too many of them. Then I remember the bow he dropped beside me when he got his sword back. I pick it up and shakily load it with a stick. I shoot a few times into the group until they seem to have lost interest in Murpho and start heading for me. I shoot back at them hastily but Murpho and I have used most of the sticks nearby anyway. And then an absurd, strange idea comes to me. I pick up one of the minecrafters' sword and load it into my bow. It kills the nearest zombie and nocks the next back.

Day 7: Journey Home
Then I see Murpho, dark and bloody killing all the rest. He limps out and collapses at my feet. By now the sun is beginning its rise. The others wake and notice a large heap of dead zombies near camp. They look shocked but me and murpho just grin. The other 12 minecrafters explain how Illusionist sent a distress call in battle. Calling for help. They watched the mountain explode from the bridge. Most doubted any survivors but some urged them to check. And they found as an brought us to the hills.
We groan and stand up and walk over to the sea. As I walk I count the deaths. Whiz.  Illusionist. Diadaros. 11 minecrafters I didn't even know the names of. Of the original 12 that attacked the castle before, only one- Murpho- remains. They were known as the elites group so Murpho is nicknamed "Elite" being the only one.
"So, now that Herobrine is dead will people be able to respawn and overcome death?" I ask.
"Oh, no. See, there are more evils than just Herobrine in this world. There was a group of 4 who joined together and formed a group to destroy respawning." replies Murpho.
"But why do they want to destroy respawning?" I ask.
"Power. Because they want to rule all of minecraftia but the thing is, nobody will be scared if they can't die. Of course the 4 can also die, as you saw earlier, but they're powerful enough and strong enough that few dare try and kill them. But this group... we plan to attack the other 3. They all hide in secret locations. We have found out where one of the others live. A man called Echs. He lives in the desert of the East. There is a large pyramid in it, at the very top is where Echs is. It has many traps though and is heavily guarded. But he has fewer followers than Herobrine had. I don't know how many but about 10."
"When do we attack?" I ask.
"Day after tomorrow. We will return to the village to resupply and heal ourselves. Then we make a plan to attack. You see, Illusionist and Diadaros made the plan of attack for the pyramid but they were very secretive, so nobody knows now," Murpho says. We walk down the hill and along the grass to the beach.
One of the twelve who I hear is called Albert tells three others to chop down some trees for boats. We all sit down on the beach while they collect. After a few minutes they return carrying armfuls of logs. They craft them into seventeen boats and place them down. I choose a boat and get in. Albert does a quick headcount and then says to set off. We ride through the sea and nothing much happens. The sun is still high in the sky so we have plenty of time.
When we finally reach the shore it is near dusk. We abandon our boats and head on. About half way to the village monsters begin to come out which we take out fairly easily although one of them gets seriously injured and two others stay behind to help. We reach the village and go inside. Me, Murpho and some others are brought to a hospital for doctors to heal our many wounds.

Day 8: Training
By morning I'm feeling great and ready to train. I meet Murpho at Whiz's old place collecting the stuff. What memories they bring me... just a week ago I was lying on the sand, being greeted by Whiz. What has happened to me? I have taken so many lives in such a short time. And this is not me. I am not a killer. They have twisted and changed me to their will into some sort of monster. And I can't stand it.
But I know that to save lives, you must take some so I continue as I am. Murpho tells me training will start soon and be lead by DarkerWorld. I will be trained with a sword, seeing as I can barely take on a zombie with one. The training takes place in a cleared area of the forest. It's fenced off but I doubt it's completely safe. Murpho nudges me in and I walk in slowly looking for movement. I look back and see Murpho is gone. I look about the area and see nobody.
     "He... Hello?" I ask.
"Hello," says a voice. I turn to its direction. It seemed to be coming- no that can't be right- from a tree. I walk closer and see someone step out from in front of the tree. He is wearing some sort of brown leather the same colour as the tree. I grin at him and he grins back.
"I'm Darker and I'll be your trainer for the night," he announces.
     "Hello," I say, "I'm Werdna."
"So I heard, and today you'll be trying out some monster fighting with swords." He chucks over a wide stone sword. "I'm going to open this door," he gestures to a small room in the corner of the area, "inside are 3 mob spawners. They will spawn skeletons, zombies and spiders. Should this stuff beeping," he passes over a small device, "It will mean you are seriously injured, then shout and I'll take on the beasts my self."
"Right. Got it," I say, trying to sound confident. He opens up the door and stands back. Mob after mob comes racing out the door slowly filling one side of the area. By the time he closes the door I estimate about 30 of each type. More than I've ever taken on. This is far beyond my ability and I'm about to ask if this is legal when the first spider  gets within range. They seem to have formed an orderly fashion. With the spiders taking the lead with the zombies behind them and the skeletons standing behind them as archers.
I reach to my back to retrieve an arrow before remembering I no longer have one. It's just this little sword. It's short and I will need to get very close to do any serious damage. The spider jumps and I swerve to the side, avoiding it by a fraction of a meter. I run towards the spider while it's facing the wrong way and drive my sword into its back leg. It screeches and flies backwards. Sadly, to it, backwards is towards me. It flies into me and I go crashing backwards into the fence. By now other spiders have joined the first. They are pouncing and biting as I jab my sword into anything that moves. I stab a spider in the eye and it runs backwards screeching. I now that there are too many but I keep fighting. Being better at long rage I occasionally throw my weapon but then have to retrieve it, unarmed in a crowd of spiders.
Now the zombies have reached me and I have taken down only about 3 spiders. I grab my sword and run into a clearing. The skeletons have blocked any form of escape and are shooting wildly. I slide from side to side every now and then swinging my sword at the beasts. But 3 of their arrows have already found their target. 2 hit my arm, another hit my chest. I pull them out, causing blood to flow out and lowering my chances of ever getting out of here. I need to think of something fast. I rack my brain for ideas and none comes to me. Until, yes! Of course! Murpho using sticks as arrows. Maybe I can do reverse! I snatch up a bundle of arrows from a dead skeletons quiver and decide on how to make a bow. I'll need string. I can get some from the spiders. And wood? I guess I could take the handle off my sword. It's large enough to act as a small bow. I rip the wood off. If this doesn't work then I'll have no weapons at all.
I see Darker watching me. He's beginning to get confused at my actions and i walking towards the group of monsters. I bash some holes in each side of the wood with the sword's blade and sling some string through them. I then put on a quiver, filled with arrows and begin shooting. It's not like a normal bow. This is quickly made, weak and small. But it works. I take down a lot of the monsters until a beeping starts. I call out and see Darker killing the rest. He then walks up to me and laughs.
"You did very well, didn't expect you to make a bow, but that wasn't really what you were supposed to be doing. But then again, I suppose a sword's just not your thing. Anyway you should get some sleep," he nods up to the sky. It must be already midnight.

Day 9: Over the sea, and through the marshes.
I wake in Darker's shack and am up, bow in hand before you can say Echs. I thank Darker for his help and head out of the area. The walk through the forest is completely uneventful. Perhaps Darker's epic fighting scared them off.
When I reach the gate I just nod to the guard and he lets me through. I walk through the village looking for Murpho. I find him sitting sitting with Albert in a small park. I walk in through the gate towards them. Murpho turns his head.
"Ah, you arrived. Training go well?" he asks me.
"Not my best, but there were a lot more," I reply, "So who is coming with us to the pyramid?"
"Let me think... Me, you, Albert, Darker, the 15 minecrafters and 6 others you don't know yet. The plan is that the 6 will scout out the area we'll be travelling through and return to us. The group is lead by Geohendan, not the best fighter but a great scouter and builder. He can also set up some pretty good snares and traps." I nod, glad that we will have a fair amount in this expedition.
"After that the rest of us will follow, lead by me. When we do the raid on the pyramid the swordsmen will lead and the archers will stay outside, taking down any followers who come outside. But they are ready for us this time. They saw Herobrine's armies fall. They know what we are capable of. But of course, they don't think anybody survived the explosion. They'll expect it to have takes us down with it. But if I were them I'd be assembling my forces incase we do attack."
"How many archers will there be, other than me?" I ask.
"Oh, I thought you'd be with the swordsmen, now you've had training. I shake my head.
"Training didn't really go to plan, I ended up making a bow while being chased by monsters and shooting them with that."
"Ah, well anyway, the archers are you, 4 minecrafters and Geohendan's group. So 13 archers, 14 swordsmen. 27 people all together. Although technically speaking you only have 12 since Geo throws a bone. But he's pretty accurate and can knock someone out will another goes in for the kill. And we're leaving an Noon. The journey will probably take about 2 days and the attack another day. So we'll need to stock up enough food and water for 3 days. But I've already dealt with that. One of Geo's group will be carrying the food and drink." I look up to the sky and see that Noon will be any minute now. Murpho then hands me some new armour. Diamond armour! He tells me that warriors who have survived and won a battle usually get it. He then gives me a bow and lots and lots of arrows. I stuff most in my backpack but put a few in my quiver. He gives me some stew to eat and milk to drink. We then meet up with the rest of the group. It seems quite large and unlike the old group.
"How will we travel?" I ask.
"First we'll be going by boat, as usual, then we will cross over some marshes until we get to the desert. But they would easily spot us if we walked across the plain desert. Instead we'll be travelling by caves. There is a large system of them below the desert and we're just hoping it will go near the pyramid. We will then dig our way up and go from there."
"Got it," I say. To be honest I doubt that in 3 days time I'll still be alive. I barely escaped before and this time they are ready for us. I calm myself by reminding myself that there are more of us and less of them. I see a cow walk up to me and I'm about to kill it for some leather when it makes a noise. A human noise. I gasp as it begins to talk.
"The other 5 are coming along soon, they will bring boats. I cannot go by boat however, but despite my size and weight I can swim." It may delay us a few hours but I assure you I will be very helpful," it- er- he says to Murpho. This must be Geohendan. The leader of the group. I haven't seen the others yet and hope that we won't be leading a herd of cows into battlefield. Murpho sees my face and laughs.
"Don't worry- you get used to it." Unconvinced I nod as the other 5 join us. Humans. Few. Everyone seems ready so we begin the journey.
The scouts go along the woods and make a bird's hoot to signal for us to follow. We wander through the forest, killing the occasional pig (though not any cows, for Geo's sake). We reach the beach as the scouts place lots of boats. It must have used a lot of wood, there are 26 boats! I get in one and we sail off, Geo swimming. Despite his size, weight, shape, form, movement, intelligence and the general fact that he's a cow, he's a pretty fast swimmer. But of course, our boats speed ahead. We reach the opposite beach in under 20 minutes. We wait on the beach for 10 more minutes until Geo arrives.
We don't stop for long after though, and we go along the plains quickly. I notice the land becoming more marshy, with mushrooms, wild grass and small pools appearing around us. The marsh stretches for a few miles so we stop after about a 3rd of the way to make camp. We rest under a tree and lie down to sleep. A few people are left guard and they wake us as the sun begins to rise.

Day 10: The Survivor
I am leaning against a tree, watching the sunrise when I see it. Movement. A disturbance of the peace coming from a few hundred yards to me right. I can't see anything, but in the mist here that can't prove anything. But I saw something. Something alive. Something so alive... so human. I think of alerting the others but decide against it. I could have just imagined it and then I would have wasted lots of time. I walk a few meters towards it and again see something. I shake my head and return to the tree.
I rouse the others and they get up and begin to move. We're heading away from the movement, if there was any. The marshes seem to be staying the same though. Just plain hilly lands. The rain is pouring down now and I'm hugging myself trying to keep warm. We move on and I begin to see a change in the landscape. It seems to abrupt to be real. Such a sudden change between the green of the marshes to the sands of the desert. We reach the end of the marsh when I see it again. The movement. And it's nearer now. But still I say nothing. Now we have to go underground. Darker directs us to the cave. A small opening in a hill. It looks very dark and must be crawling with monsters. But we must go on. We're at the entrance when I get a good look at the thing which I've been seeing.
Human, but like someone who is not in there right mind. They're holding a raw fish and looking haggard and grey. And then I recognise it from the photo Murpho showed me earlier. He is one of the 12... one of the elites... one of the original group that went out to destroy Herobrine and failed. I hear shouts and screams. Others have seen him. Murpho runs up to the figure and hugs it. It looks confused and starts backing of.
"Gbear, Gbear it's me! Murpho." At the sound of Murpho's name the man- Gbear- looks more relaxed he opens his mouth attempting to speak but then seems to collapse. 2 Minecrafters run up to him to help. And then Murpho starts explaining everything that has happened, what we are doing, where we are going. And then he asks how Gbear escaped.
"They took me..." he groans, "The followers, they took me to the castle. I was imprisoned there for 12 years until I escaped. I fled to the desert but saw the pyramid and I knew it was a work of evil. I then fled..." he coughs wearily, "I fled to the marshes and lived on the waters, the plants and the fish..."
"We'll come back for you. First we need to do some business in Pyramid X." says Murpho. Gbear nods and returns to a pool where he lies down on his stomach and drinks the water.
We look into the cave and I can easily see movement. I glance at Murpho and he gives a shaky nod signalling to enter. We do a quick armour check and head into the dark pit. The start of the cave is a very steep slide going down. We have to edge along the ledges slowly going down. A few times someone falls and lands on a lower ledge but with no serious injuries. When we get to what seems like the bottom we brush dirt of us and look around. It's dark, that's the first obvious thing. There is movement all around us and I see many tunnels heading off into who knows what. In one I see lava, telling us we must be far down. Somebody rummages in a backpack and takes out some torches. Not ones you hold, but ones you place. He hands a few out to everyone and we begin to light up the area. Geo seems to have a good sense of direction (or possibly bad, but we're going to hope it's good) so we head into the tunnel he pointed to.
This tunnel seems to be infested with monsters. Mainly spiders. We fight them off easily and continue the search. I'm not entirely sure how we'll know when to go up but we continue on. As we walk I notice Darker holding something. A compass.
     "What's that for?" I ask.
"Ah, you see, we need to find the pyramid and that's pretty hard being underground. But luckily one of the minecrafters under the mountain went exploring in the desert and found this. It always points to the pyramid, we don't know why. But it's useful as it gives us a direction to go in," replies Darker. I take out the clock Murpho gave me from my pocket and look at it. The sun is just setting and my 10th night is about to start. I put it back in my pocket to join my various other objects. Mainly string and bones and feathers from monster fighting. I feel a pile of creeper powder at the bottom of my pocket, I know what you use this for and just hope we won't need to use it.
"Will we need any TNT or explosives?" I ask a minecrafter.
"Eh? Probably not but who knows if we'll want to blow up some of the pyramid. I recommend making some while you can. I ponder on this and decide to stop for a minute to make some TNT. I manage to make 6 TNT, enough to destroy almost a quarter of the pyramid. But that's not an option. It would kill anyone within a 1 mile radius. Except for maybe Echs. That means we might kill our entire team and not do any good.
I put the explosives in my bag and continue walking.
     Knock.
     Knock.
     Knock.
Drumming. Or more likely the hitting of a pick against stone. We are not alone.

[u]Day 11: The Miner's Assistant[u]
The group goes quiet.
"Continue on..." Murpho says. We obey and continue along the tunnel. But the sound does not stop.
     Knock.
     Knock.
Knock. I keep looking behind me but see nothing. As we walk along the sound seems to be getting louder.
     Knock.
     Knock.
KNOCK. It's right beside us. I turn round and see nothing. I turn back to the group and see one of the minecrafters fall... into the ground. I hear shouting and run to where he disappeared. There is a hole in the ground and 3 people in it. One, the minecrafter who fell. And 2 others. Wait. No. Two People. One... rabbit? Yes. It looks like it. Murpho pushes me out the way and points his sword towards the man.
"Who are you? What are you doing here?" he shouts.
The man smiles. He then takes out a bow and shoots Murpho in the head. Murpho collapses and the man begins to laugh. Geo's hoof takes him out and he falls over. But he doesn't survive as he falls straight into a lava pit. His backpack flies out though, and survives the fire.
While the others help Murpho I jump down to inspect his belongings. I find some basic stuff. Tools, weapons, a book. A book! I reach in and open it at a random page.
"...Found below bedrock, in the castle of high, the man of the wolf will forever lie..." I read out. I don't manage to read any more before the creeper explodes, sending us flying. The book flies out of my hands into the lava and I land in some dirt, unhurt. But the minecrafter didn't make it. The one who fell down the hole. He was thrown into the lava and died instantly. I shudder and get up again.
I look around and make out the others as the dust begins to settle. I look for Murpho, and see him leaning against some rocks at the side with a few others crowding around beside him.
"You won't make it... he's too strong." He then closes his eyes and leans his head back. Dead. But his final words were lies, we can make it... we will.
"Onwards," I cough, "Onwards! To the Pyramid!" This seems to raise some spirits, though they are still low, due to the loss of their leader.
I hear a little squeak to my side and see the small rabbit from earlier. The miners assistant. The man who is now dead. I suppose he'll have to follow on, and he shouldn't be much of a hassle, so I pick him up and slip him onto my shoulder.
Geohendan takes up the lead, "hoofing" away some rubble, leading a path up to some more cave. We then walk on and on until we see a light. Not fire, or magma, but torchlight!
"Light!" someone cries, proving it was not just my imagination. The group picks up speed and we run towards the light. As they run I do a quick count of who's still here. 25. 2 gone already. Well, 25 and a half, if you count the rabbit. I sprint to the front of the group and manage to see the torch, placed precariously on the wall. And beside it, on the ground. A minetrack. Someone's been here before.

Re: The Mountaintop Attack (Minecraft FanFic)

Why is Echs always a bad guy? XD Anyway, if I get included, I'm a good guy who fell into lava while riding a pig, but an odd event suddenly took place, transfusing my DNA with my pig's and teleporting me to da Nether. I AM a zombie pigman.

Lol, we can find you hopping around in the desert and then the DNA transfusion thing except you won't go to the Nether because I doubt I'll have anything happen in the Nether. At least not in 'Pyramid X'.

But what if I come out of the Nether and remember where the portal is? Then the heroes could make use of it later! I'M A GENIUS!!! BTW, I wouldn't be transfused in da story, that'll be what happened if anyone asks.

YESH!!! AND I COULD LEAD YOU THERE!!! OSSIM!!! Also, the way I became a zombie pigman is now so clear: a crazy mad scientist took multiple samples of zombies, corpses, and pigs, transfused their DNA in hope of making an army, discovered they were useless, and deposited them into the Nether. I was one of those useless soldier. Maybe you could make up how they got swords, cuz I have no clue.
