Re: Database

A database is a base that stores info on a user.

ie, on a scratch project, a list could be a database: you create a new account with user name fg123. The list adds fg123. If you view this project on another computer, the last item on the list would be fg123.

A website that has a log in/sign up/ also has a database. If the scratch team viewed their user database, it should have every scratch user's: user name, password, birth date, email, gender, country, state/province, city.

Re: Database

mentiond before. This could make scratch a online playable game, through variables. If a variable/list could be saved on the internet, another computer might be able to view it. Xs Ys, health, levels and costumes could be shared in a rpg for example.

Re: Database

The site already uses MySQL, couldn't it just integrate with that?
