You can either host it on your computer inwhich it will only be running when your computers running, or you can use a hosting service live Avante or something like that. If you use a service though you will have to pay money but it would be a 24/7 server

1. Download CraftBukkit.
2. Go to http://wiki.bukkit.org/Setting_up_a_server and follow the instructions. (If on windows, choose the Alternate method)
3. Set up port forwarding on your router for port 25565 (IDK how to do that)
4. Edit the server.properties to your liking.
5. Double-click the RUN.bat
6. Go to whatismyip.org and tell us what it says.
