Who knows what the personal reason may be? Maybe they gave up in the cause for Fair Use since the issue is about a year old. Or maybe they sided with Namco for some reason. i wanted to be un-signed because it's stupid. Namco took IT down and not all the others is probably because they didn't have time to write a billion DMCA notices, or they just didn't think there were that many. the Flash copies were made by Namco and other people copied the code. Pacman is Na's by law. it is fair for them to this.

Hello, all supporters of Project Pac-man. Today, I bring you some sad news. As of 6PM Scratch Time, on 11/22/11, I am ending the petition and efforts of Project Pac-man. I thank you all for your efforts.

I remember the day I read that 124scratch's project had been taken down for copyright reasons. I started this petition, expecting, at most, ten or twenty signatures, if I was lucky. This has exceeded my expectations and I'm sorry I have to let it go. However, I have a variable homework load, and a tight schedule. When I'm on, this is always closed due to a lack of postings. I thanks the moderators who helped update this throughout the past few months. I'd like to keep this topic open for a little while, just so people can post their opinions on the termination of the project. Once again, I'm sorry to have to let this go. If anybody is interested in carrying on the legacy of the project, I will post the code for the topic post. This project would be impossible without the help of so many people, and to all of those people, the credit for the project goes.
