I really wish there was a layer menu. It looks sort of like the list. You can drag layers up and down on the list, and in the Scratch window they go forward and backward. You would also be able to group layers together to make them act as one layer, even though they're more than one layer. The group will have it's own sub-layers, which you could also move around.
Good idea?

Yes, controlling layers is the most difficult thing to do in scratch.

I think this would greatly help make games. Especially in 3D appearing projects that don't use pen, this would help put them in the right layer. And having multiple sprites as in one layer might be nice. Maybe there could be "set layer to ()"?

hmm, explain more what you mean by adding a bunsh of sprites as one layer. what will hapen if they touch eachother?

Well the group has sub layers, so you can put them in any order you'd like! For example, you want three sprites to always stay at the back, but you want them in a certain order, you can put them in a group, send them to the back, and edit them in the group. Do you get it?

Maybe there also can be a parallax scrolling layer menu sort of thing. If you know what I mean then great! But if you don't, I don't feel like explaining because I just explained it in my last post, but it didn't show up, and I did a lot of typing

This is a good idea. It would make projects easier to make of course!
