Picture Import Problem

I'm trying to get one of my pictures into Scratch and make a sprite, but when I click import and look around in my files, my picture isn't there! I know I didn't delete it because when I look through my libraries it is there...My laptop is a windows 7 dell....

If you can help please post!

Re: Picture Import Problem

What file format is it saved in? If it's saved in a format Scratch doesn't recognize, such as .pdn, you won't be able to import it.

Re: Picture Import Problem

I'm not really sure then... are you sure you're looking in the right folder?

Re: Picture Import Problem

Some saves are corrupt. If you see the files nae and no image while looking for it on scratch, its corrupt.

Try converting it to a .txt, then to a .jpeg

If it doesnt help upload your image and I'll fix it for you!

It's simply hiding it from view then. If the situation gets desperate, there's a little hack to make it work (which I still didn't code), but I wouldn't go that far. Maybe try opening it in some editor and resaving it with a PNG or GIF format!
