The TRUE Monster

I was playing minecraft, on hard mode just 'cause I felt like it. I had already successfully built a house made of stone and wood with glass windows. After I got the bed ready, a Zombie invaded my house, even though it was daytime. "HOLY *!!" I yelled, trying to kill it. Strangely, it stared crying, harder and harder after each hit. Before it died, it said, "You are the TRUE monster....." Then, a creeper came and blew up my house. I was the only thing standing, no hits taken. "What the *?!" I thought. another creeper came, and hissed these words, "You are the true monster. You keep killing us, calling our kind the monsters. I have a right to defend my people, even if it means killing my self..." At the moment it stopped speaking, I closed the window, with out saving.


I shall never play Minecraft again.

I woke up and got dressed.  I left the main room.  I walked down the hallway.  Sure enough, Mr. Demon was still there on the wall.

I took a step back.  So did he.

Not bad. Describe the demon more, add more suspense and pretty much make your character * his pants at seeing the demon. But don't write his response when he figures out HE is the demon. It's better that way.

Luna Game

On April 3, 2011, A game was posted on Equestria Daily labeled Luna Game. It seemed harmless enough, so a few people downloaded it, only to quickly realize it was not what it seemed.



The game starts out as you playing Luna on a simplistic platform level, you are able to jump and move around using the arrow keys. But after about thirty or so seconds of playing, the screen cuts out into one of two creepy images; Pinkie Pie Zalgofied or just plain creepy Applebloom. At this point, a creepy song begins to play, and you realize the game doesn't close with the esc key (And the alt+f4 did not work for many people either). The mouse was stuck at the bottom right of the screen too, and the game would always stay on top of every other window. The only way to close the game at this point, was to open Task Manager via Ctrl+alt+del, navigate to the program using the arrow keys, and press delete. The game would automatically close after a while on it's own.

When the user looks at the location he saved the game after it's closed, they find a bunch of pictures and text files labeled 'The End is Neigh', the text file's text also reads 'The End is Neigh'



At first the program was thought to be some kind of virus, but after a while (And a few dozen virus scans), it was confirmed to be a rather mean prank. The game itself would not modify or delete any files on the user's computer, simply save screenshots and text documents. Though when the user downloaded the program to their desktop, deleting all the pictures and text documents generated would prove to be quiet annoying.

the pinkie pie picture has a distorted "giggle at the ghostie" and freaky laughter, and the applebloom had loud screams and moans

It's common knowledge that they put the Companion Cube in Portal in order to make people carry the cube through that whole stage instead of leaving it behind. What most people don't know is that isn't the only thing the developers added due to beta-tester behavior.

I'm speaking, of course, of the so-called "rattman dens:" certain, out of the way areas in the game where it looks to the player as if a previous runner through GLaDOS' maze healed up and began living again. The dens mainly consisted of photographs and insane message, scribbled over and over. These were added late in development.

The areas themselves were initially nothing more than small, barely bits of textured space that players managed to get themselves into with a little fiddling. Once these small, unremarkable spaces of map were reached, the beta testers who got there started acting odd.

The first man they found was sitting on the floor, curled up in the fetal position over his controller, rocking back and forth and sobbing quietly to himself. When they asked him what was wrong, he started shouting nonsense and tried to attack the guard who escorted him out of the building.

The next guy, well, actually a woman, went a bit further. Security rushed into the room when they heard screaming. The woman had clawed deep ashes into her own arms and was bleeding on the floor, twitching violently. They rushed her to the hospital, where she recovered fully without memory of the incident.

The third guy just stopped. He stopped playing, stopped moving, even stopped speaking. He had gone completely catatonic. His family apparently trid to sue for damages, but they didn't have a strong enough case. The developers, by this time, were obviously very concerned, but what could they do? Video games don't drive people crazy.

It took a murder for them to change the areas.

Although the last beta tester seemed fine, the developers only found out what had happened when they got a call from the police. The last tester had forced his youngest daughter into an oven and burned her to death; he had written the word 'cake' all over her body in permanent marker, also.

It IS noteworthy, though, that the Companion Cube as we know it was added later, after the beta test. All participants have shown the same odd behavior; at first catatonic and flegmatic, they became more and more violent with time.

A later symptom developed, too: an extreme sense of pyromania. Whether oven, campfire, or just a match, it always resulted in getting too close to the fire and being burned. In the end, Valve figured out a way to counter this behavior.

While originally, in the beta test, you simply left the cube in an air vent and moved on to the next level, now you have to burn the cube. You have to burn your best friend. Although they sealed off the air vent, it's still there in the level. It's just hiding under a wall of pixels.

Guess what happens if you find the air vent and don't burn the Companion Cube?

There's really such a game? In that case, I guess it's a shock game or something.

I didn't have bad experiences with those; my first reaction to a shock picture(spot the face in the picture, and suddenly this really creepy face popped up) was "OMGBBQ COOL COME HERE MOMMY IMA SHOW U DIS".

@GLaDOS2-You need to insert more stuff about the Rattman's Den. Why does it cause insanity?

My name is Pikachu. I was a Pokémon trainer, until a few years ago...

The owner of the Pokémon Emerald game had lost it. Their DS Light was stuck in a back pack, probably forgotten. They might have found the DS, I'm not sure, for I was taken by some stranger. I don't know why I was stolen from my owner. I think my "File" was deleted, because I was never controlled by my new "owner". I could tell that, one day, my previous owner got a new copy of emerald, because I heard of this new Pokémon trainer from the hoenn region: Ace. I heard of it by another lost character. I don't remember their name, because I haven't seen them sense. I'm pretty sure they might have been murdered by a trainer from a older or newer region, from the world of normal humans...

I miss my owner from before. They must be having fun with their new game, for I hear tears of joy being cried in the distance. But, no matter how far I run towards it, I can never get to the source of it. The evil thief, the one who possibly deleted my file, is going to die from my wrath, for taking my former owner's happiness away...
