Projects removed

This is more of a letter of complaint than a suggestion but here goes anyway. I have recently had a project removed for no true reason at all. With previous knowledge of the Scratch Terms and Conditions, I uploaded a project showing traditions from different countries about animals they eat. The project contained no inappropriate images and I purely intended it to be an insight into a different culture, and it also helped to inform the scratch community of different cultures around the world. Anyway, I'll get to the point. Some scratch members flagged it because they didn't agree with the animals being eaten by different people from different countries. Forgive me if I am wrong, but projects shouldn't be flagged if people simpy don't agree with them, or don't like them. My project clearly didn't breech any of the terms and conditions, so why was it removed? Because a couple scratch members didn't agree with a tradition. The project was clearly not 'reviewed' by the scratch team, as stated, otherwise, it would still be here today.
So, please clean up your flagging system, and don't try wipe the non-existant dirt off my projects,
04lukeb.

Re: Projects removed

After a scratch project is flagged a certain number of times it is removed instantly, later the scratch team will look at the project and see if it should be removed.

I've taken a long hiatus, but I still visit sometimes. Give me some time to answer any messages you post on my projects!

Ok thanks for that, but I deleted the flagged project. Will it still appear after the scratch team have reviewed it?

Yeah, I'm not sure they can, since you deleted it.  But, you can always Share the project agaiin and just not delete it this time, if it gets flagged again.

It would be hard for the Scratch Team to review a project that has been removed. When something like this happens just wait until the Scratch Team reviews it or send us an email by clicking on the Contact Us link.  Thanks and sorry about your project, I didn't get to see it.
