how can you get people to comment on your projects
people never comment on your projects and after awhile it gets annoying, cause you see other projects that have 20 comments but yours doesn't even have 1.
What do you have to do to get people to at least look at your projects?

Well, uh, I don't really know. I just get views and comments. I got kinda popular after a year on lucari0 and it carried over (not as much as I hoped, though) to this account. I guess after time people will see them? Try making cool project and long, in-depth games and people might say "Hey that looks cool!" or see it andbe like "This deserves more views. I'll put it in my magazine or advertise it." or something.

Adding lots of tags to your projects helps people find them with the search engine, and making an advertisement in the Show and Tell section of the forums can get you more publicity. Adding them to galleries can do wonders to help you get views. Looking at other people's projects and commenting (but not directly advertising) can help people see your name and maybe recognize it later on and look at your stuff.
Also, simply trying to make a quality project can help a ton, because if people like it they can add it to galleries or favourite it.
Though in the end this all only increases your chances, it's no sure thing, and it can sometimes boil down to luck.

Check this topic out to learn how to write a good ad in the Show and Tell forums that will make people notice your project.

It also helps if you actually ask for feedback or suggestions in the project, preferably in the project notes.

Lots of people always wants to do this. One way, is to spend as long as you can, making a really neat game. When you have a really neat game, and you become a scratcher (Instead of a new scratcher) You can put your project in your signature. I'm trying it now. Take a look below at my scratch messenger.

The best way to get comments is make the project that you want to get comments original for two reasons.
1: it will probably get more views.
2: they will have something to comment about like, hey, nice animation/game!
SOME OF THIS MIGHT NOT BE ENTIRELY TRUE, BECAUSE I AM NOT A FAMOUS SCRATCHER OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT BUT I HOPE THIS HELPS.
