I was thinking of making a game, where it goes straight to the final battle with the boss.

You choose your number of characters to control from 1-5, then balance them out by spreading out 500 stat points between them as you choose, to defeat the boss with

I was thinking of making it as a way of learning more complicated AI methods, to make the boss more challenging. Does anyone think this would be a fun idea for a game?

Just one character. MAYBE two. Five is WAY too much.

Okay, thanks! It's meant to be like a final fantasy battle, based loosely off of the early ones, like ff1-ff4. they tend to have a lot of characters.

ehhh maybe more than two characters most ff games have 3 some have 4,
1 has 5.
