Sorry, a little confused.
Sorry for the very confusing and overly technical post! I'd only just figured out what I was trying to say, and it was a little rushed.
I'll try to explain it more simply...
So, correct me if I'm wrong: As far as I can tell, to link together the minigames, we have to start with a blank Scratch project, and then import each minigame.
If you import each of our current projects, you just get a horrible mess (I tried 'Import Project' with Canada and Japan. Try it!).
We need a way to move between the minigames, and control when each one starts and ends.
If we do a couple of quick changes to each minigame:
• Replacing "Start with Green Flag" with "When I recieve <country name>" (as you said)
• Adding "When I recieve (End <country name>): hide" to each sprite.
This means that when you import all of the minigames, you don't get such a horrible mess.
(Also, linking them together will be much easier, as to link (for example) Romania with Japan, we can just do something like "When I recieve (End Romania): Broadcast (Japan)"

That's a start, yes; but it's not everything.
I think we also need to add "When I recieve (End <country name>): hide" to each sprite.
Does that make sense? Is this even necessary, or Is there another, better way of linking together the minigames? I'm probably just being stupid, and have missed something obvious...

I don't know what everyone else is doing, but I'm pretty sure there are some minigames that still need finishing.

Canada, Brazil, Romania are completely finished. India and France need some work. Japan needs a lot of work. The other countries haven't been made yet.
So, from what you said:
Japan — a lot of work needed
America — not started
France — some work needed
Mexico — not started
Africa — not started
Brazil
Germany — not started
Japan — again?
Romania
Canada
India — some work needed

Ok, I understand now. Would you like to be in charge of that once all of the minigames are complete?

Happy to do that (:
Are you happy with the latest script? I thought it might need a little work.

Could we also do the intro and ending as separate parts of the project, ready to be compiled together later? That way, we'll have as much finished and ready as possible.

That's fine. For the script, use dinoclors version as the foundation then edit and add more lines in whichever way you like. The only problem is that seemed a bit too short.

hey blob8108, I'm not sure if I like your 'fixed glitch' version of the Canada game. I'm not saying anything's wrong with that; I liked how you fixed the leaves. However, personally, I think 'You Win' should be brodcasted RIGHT when you catch 50 leaves. Let's say you win with 10 seconds to go. What are you going to do? You already know you lost because the leaves stopped falling, but to me, it just seemed a little awkward that you actually have to wait until the time equals zero to be told you won.

What "fixed glitch" version? I don't think that was me — I certainly didn't deliberately change anything about the win condition.
I entirely agree with you, anyhow; you should win as soon as you've caught 50 leaves.

I thought it was in The In Use folder, and Modified for Brodcast folder. It's called Canada - blob8108, ads98 - fixed glitch. If you didn't make it, I don't know who made it.

Ah, yes. I used "Canada - blob8108, ads98 - fixed glitch" from the In Use folder, assuming it was the latest version, when I made the "modified for broadcasts" version — although I still have no idea who made the "fixed glitch" change...

Don't worry, I got rid of it (not completely). Now I'm getting rid of all the 'when flag clicked.'

I fixed the glitch. Sorry I confused you. BTW, I haven't been online as much 'cause of summer day trips.

To be honest, you might as well not bother; we can just add it the logo once, when we merge them all together.
