Looks like this belongs in Suggestions. I'll move it. 
Also, I think it would be a very good idea to explain the idea rather than just linking to the suggestion page. That helps you get more interest and support, especially if you try to pick a move descriptive title.

Can't you just the friends list? Not to mention, people might get mad and quit if they don't get fans. 
RANDOM THOUGHT: If the tomato is a fruit, doesn't that make ketchup a smoothie?
