When I uploaded my 'Spinner Command' project yesterday, I noticed the project was messed up online. When I downloaded it, it was still not working right. My original copy seems to be the only working one.
Anywho, I was looking at the scripts on the downloaded version and saw this when the green flag was clicked-
1) Why are both online and downloaded version not running the same as my original copy?
2) What is the red outline?
3) Has anyone else seen the red outline before?

The red outline means an error happened and the script cannot be read. I do not know what causes the error to appear.
My Suggestion: try removing different parts of the script and run it without them. That way you can find the source of the error.

Are you using the beta version of scratch?

I suspect that either the variable "Color" doesn't exist (renamed?) or the sound to be played doesn't exist. I don't see much else in that script that could trigger an error.

If a sound doesn't exist, Scratch just doesn't play it, thats all.

No. Not when the problem occurred.

It's the music. Which is weird-
a) It's not copyright or trademarked
b) It has no DRM
c) It works in my original version, it works partially online, yet it 100% doesn't work OR play when downloaded.

It could be because you are dividing by 0 but there are no divisions so thats not it. Thats what made one of my projects have a red script outline

I think it must have been the music, because I just tested the same script but with the defult Meow sound in place of your sound, and it worked fine.

The original problem this thread relates to is over a year old....the problem was related to the music file (as mentioned above). I think we can close this one out.
