Everyone knows Animal Crossing is haunted. Read the creepypasta "The Secret Of Animal Crossing". You know, the one with Tom Nook, Penny the one eyed mouse and why it's called "Animal Crossing".
Oh dear, I think I just spoiled the creepypasta. Mentally ignore the one eyed mouse part. You aren't supposed to know that till the last part.

It's just an urban myth to keep people busy.
As for the game, I just can't do it. I do it for a week, then I just can't go on every day for some reason. :L
