Thanks!

@MKR:

I agree with what LiquidMetal said regarding changes to the Leo sprites! (I like them so far though!)

Re: Collab project: Butterfly Tree

Hmm, I think the "Subscribe to Butterfly tree" project needs re-vamping...

Maybe we can just add some screen shot previews, but we'll need our final graphics. MKR, do you want me too find someone else to help you with the graphics? I'm starting to worry a bit since the Collab Camp deadlines aren't far away...

I am literally about to tackle my computer.. oh and my paint.net program... spent 2 hours making the PERFECT Leo... (Pokemon Style;) and then accidently hit the rewind button... then it wouldn't let me get back to my work!! 2 Hours down the drain... let's hope I can make another perfect Leo....

I love it!

2 more quick fixes, and I think it will be done:

•Could you make him a bit shorter and younger looking?
•He doesn't find the hat until later in the story. I know the hair won't be too easy to make, but could you try?

Thanks!

This is still MKR-ey, the eyes.

And you can see three distinct points on the shirt and pants that the color rotates around.

Maybe put his hands on his hips also? and the jacket has an extra flap.

If I remember correctly, Leo starts with his hat on, and looses it in the first challenge.  Or are we saying he was playing baseball near the berry tree when he got knocked out?
And does he find it before or after he becomes conscious. (I was thinking he loses it in the berry tree and has to find it as the last mission.  For that, we want a picture of him with and without his hat. for that, we would want the hat to blend in sort of so it doesn't pop out as odd when it is not on him to most people.

Another question: Does the story have a specific order, or can you gather the items in any order? Then we could have a definite story at the end for those who downloaded. (in the form of a list in order that the events happened.)

Grass sprite needed too.  Also owetre18 would help with graphics, or maybe i could do some, depending on which.

Oh, I was thinking that he starts without it, then finds it in the middle of the game which triggers a few memories or something.

It has to be in order.

Hey guys, sorry I was inactive. I've noticed that the last time I checked, the movement engine made him move back and forth. I'll see if I can fix that. Also, could someone tell me what they want me to do?

Don't worry, I understand that you've been busy. We all have moments like that!  smile

We are going to submit this project for the Collab Camp. Are you still in?

Was this online or offline? If online, be sure to try using the flash player.

We need some help with graphics. Be sure to take a look at the graphics to-do list!

Yay! Even better!

Final edits:

•Make the eyes a bit rounder
•Make a costume with the eyes closed
•Make sure he has feet in both costumes
•In the costume with his eyes open, his mouth shouldn't be a smile

I don't care either way, but it should be decided now.  I think your way might work better though.

The circled places could use some touching up.  Their are extra lines on his hands, his shoes are sideways, still a dot on the shirt, and extra tags coming out of it? Hands could be a little lower?

Those are just my suggestions.

Re: Collab project: Butterfly Tree

Whoa!  I just looked at your framework editions for before the berry puzzle, and I was completely lost.  One thing I can tell, is, that they are unnecessarily complicated, or, at least not nearly the way i would have done it.  Can you put in more comments so it is easy to understand? Either way, I will try to take care of this tomorrow, as well as finish my infinite scroller.

Re: Collab project: Butterfly Tree

I just tried doing infinite scrolling with potentially reused costumes, but it is extremely hard to visualize and I am having trouble.  Is there a way to do it with just one list?
