Scratch4 is a version of Scratch that will have the code completely copied to Squeak 4.2. It will also have an updated interface based on the style of Scratch 2.0. It will not have any new blocks or code, and therefore will not truly be a Scratch Mod. I may not be able to release it. I will have to study the license. Discuss (ify).

What a coincidence! I am making the very same thing!

Cool! Maybe you could work together and get it done even faster!
As a matter of fact, I... I mean we are working on it together!

You can release it, and please do! If you finish it, that is.
I tried to work with 4.2 to make my own stuff, and ended up back using a clean 2.0 version of Squeak
It's a good idea though, so I'm really looking forward to the end results.
And, about the license, you can release it even if you don't add a single block, but not under the name of 'Scratch4' (because of the Scratch in it). Plus you have to state 'code partially by MIT Media Lab' if you use the same or similar block code.
