But why do you replace it? I think he means all the projects that were deleted shouldn't count since at the time of the 2Mth upload there will be less than 2M projects online.

Because the project is still technically in the database, just normal users can't see it. Only the scratch team can,

Okay. By the way, do you know when Scratch started? I can't tell since stats doesn't seem to be working. Ironically this happens just as everybody starts wanting to look at stats.

1,967,322 done. 32,678 to go. And I'm checking this by looking at newest projects URL not stats, so it's a lot more accurate.
