Crackling?

When Scratch is open for about....idk but it varies from 20 minutes to an hour or 2, the sound get crackly and sounds screwed up. I can reopen it and it's back to normal but why does it do this? Is it just me?

probably RAM memory thing-scratch uses a lot of this and scratch probably automatically compresses sound to prevent BSODs (blue screen of death)
