I think it would be a good idea to edit comments. Why? Well, what if you spell something wrong and it says a bad word or you realize it's like your thousandth comment or something? It's annoying having to reply to your own comment, so just edit it! You can on the forums, so why not on projects? Let's make this to happen! Here is the suggestions page.

What if somebody makes a mean comment, waits for flag, and edits it? Then the flagger would get in trouble for flagging a seemingly harmless comment.
The comment would be reported as it was when reported, not at it's newest state.

This has been brought up before.
I'm not sure... I don't think it's any worse than editing posts.

I agree with scimonster, it can't be any worse than editing posts. I support.

I think that this is a good Idea! I always try to use good grammar and spelling, so it would be good to be able to go and correct myself! I hope this comes out in the next version of ScratchR!

Would you mind capitalizing the S in Scimonster? :3
Oh, and Chrischb said he supports.

I support!
Flagged comments would appear as they were when they were flagged, as well as the current version, so that mods could still adequately punish the author and, if necessary, remove the comment.
I don't think it should display a long 'edited by' line -- maybe an E, and when you rollover display the details.
