Meh, if you're outposted and you're a New Scratcher nobody will blame you for not editing your post. And anyways, I don't like it, but I think it should be implemented, in order to stop spam. If not, people could insult someone, the person sees it, reports it, and the user deletes their post before anybody sees it. Well, at least in the TBGs you can edit it  big_smile
Oh, and why do you put --imnotbob, I mean, your username kind of implies you're imnotbob xD

Your account will be upgraded soon enough. Just keep staying active on the forums and all will be well.  smile

The reason we have to stick with such unreasonably tight constraints for New Scratchers is that from time to time we get these trolls who may post something that looks nice at first, but then they change it to something really, really nasty after it gets a good reputation. Alas, I hate to make trolls ruin it for everyone, but unless you've got a reasonable alternative, it'll have to do.  hmm

It really all depends on whether you're active and polite on the website and forums.  smile  If you're not-so-active and your posts are all rude, you'll not be upgraded terribly quickly. On the other hand, if you're constantly being helpful and nice, you'll be upgraded relatively soon.
