First, Weegee is a fan character, so Nintendo could care less. Second, Chuck Norris isn't a video game character, so Nintendo could care less.

Miis would be a good idea, play as your own Mii, (course all Miis would follow a specific control scheme), and maybe some more Pikmin characters, (Louie, President).  Maybe some different Pokemon, and not just reskins, (Lucario).
