Can I be a scratcher?
Meh, you probably thought this was a topic by a n00b. Nope. Anyway, I'm jfmlove6,and this is my test account. Jfmlove6 is a scratcher 
I read somewhere that if you ask the Scratch Team, your alt. account can become a scratcher. So, yeah. I want to become one.

This was one of the very special cases that coolstuff is refering to - in this case it was a change of account names by request of the Scratch Team. So to help with the transition to the new account, the status was upgraded early. Such cases are quite rare. Note that a Scratch Team action resulted in the loss of full Scratcher status so another Scratch Team action was taken to restore it.

Sounds like maybe a bug...which account do you feel was upgraded too fast? Perhaps you can report it over in Troubleshooting and we'll see if others are seeing the same thing.

They'll be upgraded eventually.
And, it all boils down to equality. We shouldn't treat some people differently than others, now, should we?
It's also a lot of work to have to upgrade test accounts, which frankly doesn't need to be done.
