No spam mail but my computers been around for like, i don't know, maybe 14, 15 years?
Time to get a new computer. 15 years?!!?! That's the oldest operational computer I've ever heard of! Most computers are cannot operate properly after about 7 years. I think it's just because you're running win 95 or something. MY computer only crashes when I run Chrome, IE's competitor. Then Windows 7 has a fit and gives me the dreaded blue screen,
Yeah, about the age. I asked my parents and they said 7 or 8 years. I was way off :p

Computers crash a lot after 5 years, so it is still time to get a new computer. Try a laptop, they tend to be faster, have better graphics, and their portable!
The thing is with that, my parents pay my sister $20 a day for watching TV (literally) so I actually have to do stuff for 2 weeks to get the amount she gets in one day and sometimes my parents don't even pay me

I'm not saying it does, but it might. Why do I think it might? Well, Scratch may be the cause of my computer getting the blue screen o' death like, 4 times because it's mainly one of the only sites I go on (besides clubpenguin, google, gmail, and game sites (safe ones) like miniclip) but really Scratch is pretty much it. Please if you're on the Scratch Team I'd appreciate it if you'd search for one.

Like what Paddle2See posted earlier, I don't believe the Scratch site has a virus.
However, Scratch does run Java and Flash scripts in order to work, and sometimes running multiple Flash and Java scripts can cause a computer to freeze, particularly if the computer is old. I have a feeling that might be the reason for your computer problems. If you're running multiple applications or have multiple windows/tabs open while browsing the Scratch website, try turning them off and see if that improves your situation.

Thank you. The situation has been optomized a little bit after posting this. Oh yeah, I can't run flash since I don't have the new plug-in anyway :p

Scratch is from 2009.
Its your computer.

Actually, Scratch was released in early 2007 - late 2006. ^^

Don't use Internet explorer. Hackers love putting viruses there!

It's very difficult for a website to get your computer to contract a virus, no matter what browser you use. The main thing to be cautious about is what you download onto your computer. Don't download illegal files from Limewire or Frostwire (although I think Limewire's been shut down) and be aware.
It's possible to get the Blue Screen of Death without having a virus, anyways.

BSoDs aren't the result of viruses usually

May 15th I think it was released publicly. But you seem to be the only person who signed before like any admin >.>
I have a computer that old, and it seems to be doing the same thing that yours does (except for blue screens). Do you ever turn it off? (turning the monitor off isn't the same thing) If you don't, you probably should. It could suffer from some massive overheat.
And please, don't get into a mac vs. pc argument. Go do that somewhere else. It's a pc we're talking about, so macs shouldn't even come up in the conversation.

I think it was officially released in mid-2007, but was still available for download before that.
Anyways, this is completely irrelevant to the conversation! Silly moderators, getting off-topic.
