The "personality" page of the Profile says this:

Please limit the total height of your signature to 150 pixels including images and text.

I'd have to side with this, though I guess it can be hard to moderate... I'll say there can be one line of images 150px high and then text.

Ah!  Good point about the message in the Personality page.  I'll have to look into that.

I'd like no limit.  If there has to be one, make it 750 pixels minimum.  1,000 would be nice.  Something that most Scratchers who use images in their sigs won't ever run into but troublemakers who drew their own 100,000,000 pixel things will be limited with.  I mean, 150 pixels?  That's tiny!

YES!!!    That's what has messed up so many people's sigs! I mean you can put the text on top of the image, but it doesn't look as good and then the image gets cut off! I would love to just have this little bit of leeway.

Woah, you're right, I didn't see that post... With everyone having 1000 pixel images, my pages would never load xD

Yeah, 1000 pixels seems a little excessive. Most people's monitors are about 1000 pixels high - I turn images and signatures off, at any rate, but I don't think 1000 pixels is at all reasonable.
