I see one of these too many 'I quit' projects every few months by completely different people.
Tough! either they're actually leaving, or they're just attention seekers who are over reacting.

Not new, at all. "I quit" projects have been done since like, early 2009 when Scratch started becoming more of a social website than an educative tool.

People have been quitting Scratch since way back. I took a look in the database and found one of the earliest "I Quit" projects from January of 2008

It's not anything new and it's really not anything to be overly worried about. Sometimes people get frustrated and make an angry project announcing that they are leaving. Usually, they come right back after they cool down a bit, either on the original account or maybe with a new account.

I think the real problem is that there are too many "too many 'i quit' projects". Just like there are too many "Enough Enough" threads.
