correct reasons for flagging?

I just received a commercial message on one of my Scratch project trying to get my to visit a completely unrelated website to do with stress management i-phone apps (like I need that... I have a SAMSUNG!) The user had no projects, friends, galleries, picture etc and I flagged the comment assuming they were a commercial spammer... Then I wondered, is that right? Are only rude/inappropriate project supposed to be flagged or do the Scratch team want to know about this sort of comment too?

Thanks  smile

Re: correct reasons for flagging?

Commercial spam is not allowed on the site, that should definitely be flagged.

This is not what you do. This topic is about NOT spamming.

Re: correct reasons for flagging?

yes, i agree 100%. If spamming isn't flagged it will grow and grow, and then it might get out of hand, and then the website will be attacked by ads! lol!

Re: correct reasons for flagging?

If the spamming continues, you can also add the user to your ignore list, thus blocking all of the messages from you.

Your question doesn't seem to fit to the topic of this thread really much... ^^ You should try posting a topic in the All About Scratch forum if you need help with Scratch. I'm pretty sure that will get you more answers.
