How much more immoral can you get? Anyone with half a sense of moral knows that it's better to email them the notepad file and title it 'free pizza' and such names.

Uh, I personally don't find rendering someone's computer completely useless very funny... that's going beyond some trolling in good fun to just being mean.
However, I think it is fun to mess with people's computers. Here's some fun things I've done that are harmless.
1. On some computers, you can press Ctrl + alt + down to flip the image on screen upside-down.
2. Take a screenshot of the desktop and set it as their wallpaper. Next, right-click the desktop, go to 'view', and uncheck "show desktop icons." Now if they click on what appears to be an icon, nothing will happen.
3. Make a batch file that opens up a program, then make a shortcut to it that you disguise to look like the shortcut to another program. (Just imagine their confusion when clicking on the IE icon opens up Microsoft Word, etc.)

Why not delete C:/WINDOWS instead of C:/WINDOWS/system32?

Well, first, be aware that breaking into a house and destroying an expensive computer is likely to have some rather large consequences - we're talking criminal trespass and destruction of property I think. Maybe 5 to 10 years in jail or a reform school? Your results will vary depending on the state where you chose to commit your crime and how your judge is feeling during your sentencing.
Secondly, why take the time to destroy the operating system if you're going to destroy the HDD physically with the magnet? That seems redundant.
Third, if you're going to go to all the work to get at the HDD, why not just take it with you rather than destroy it? The computer will be just as dead and you will have a nice hard drive that you can use as partial restitution for your offenses when you are sentenced. Maybe you can get that Destruction of Property charge reduced or dismissed![]()
Aren't you aware that this is a TBG?

How is this a TBG?
"How to destroy someone's computer" is a good TBG title. And plus, just reading the first post made me think "TBG".

There's TBGs about getting kicked out of some place, and even though it's a joke, it still seems like a TBG.

I dont think this falls under the text based game catagory. Its more of an informative topic.

Or you could just E-Mail them a trojan, even though you'll probably get caught and jailed.
Since Trojans are hard to detect, I bet you could easily say you had no idea there was a Trojan.
Tell them its' one of those worms which infect your email and sends copies of itself to all your contacts. The police will search for the hacker which launched the worm. You either scapegoat someone, or they find nobody, because there was no hacker, and it turns into an isolated cold case no one is interested in anymore since there haven't been any more attacks.

I didn't think you were serious until I read Paddle2See's post. If you want to destroy a computer, I heard there was this one site(I don't know were) where you can download viruses onto a flash drive. o_0 All you'd have to do is plug the flash drive into your friend/soon to become enemy's computer.
