[ontopic] By rarity, the diamond block. By usefulness, cobblestone (Very common, and can be used to make both structures and tools in its raw form).

Yes, but the way I sometimes think of valuable is rare. Golden apples are very rare as you said, but it could be the diamond block. It's not easy to find 72 gold ingots (nearly impossible) and it's hard to find an apple without a mod as well. It's not quite as hard to find 9 diamond gems (in my opinion).

@Bananaman I didn't know you have minecraft, ignore this if you really don't. It is kinda valuable on my server, because someone buys dirt! For MONEH!

I found a free minecraft site via misc and once I get on my mom's labtop because this can't support it and its tough to update I will start.
