I like my steak nice and juicy, when all the salty bloody juice oozes out of the brown, thick slab of pure deliciousness that is what I'm about to eat.(I'm kind of like a vampire when I et my steak) And I also like my hamburgers medium rare, WITHOUT cheese. I LOVE it when you get to bite down on a piece of meat and the juice gushes into your mouth, and then the meat is perfectly moist, so it's not gritty when you chew it, and...
I'm getting a little bit carried away here. Now I want steak.
And people think I'm a vegetarian.

I like mine medium. Rare is just a bit too risky for me while well-done just makes the meat too hard to eat, so medium is a fair compromise.
(P.S. Vegetarians might be able to comment on this, too. Perhaps they could comment on how they like their Portobello steak [or whatever steak substitute they use] cooked. )
Everything is better when you add a little cheddar, because when you have cheese your life is at ease

Anyway, I prefer mine medium-rare. That way it stays tender and juicy but also is sufficiently cooked.

Well done and salty = awesome. I'm way too used to well done steak, so when I eat it medium or below it tastes kinda weird to me ._.
