For one, Green Day. People HATE them, for unknown reasons. They try out new styles, and everyone hates them when their music starts to mature. They call it contrived just because it's played on the radio. Does the fact that it became famous or popular make it take any less talent? And a few Green Day "haters" I have caught listening to 21 Guns. Ha!
That one makes me the angriest.
Can anyone come up with other bands and artists that everyone thinks are "cool" to hate, or the majority of people hate, and why you think it is unfair. (I know Justin Beiber will come up somewhere in this topic...)I've listened to Green Day (just once) and it is pretty good music! As for hating something because it is 'Cool' to do so, you should stick to your own opinion

What song?
A friend had it on his iPod, and I listened to a bit of '21 guns' and something else I don't remember

No! Never EVER put Green Day in the same group as Justin Bieber.
P.S. I do think that Green Day's best albums were more in the Dookie area, but American Idiot was pretty good, also. Though "21 Guns" might not be my favorite song, it's still several classes above anything like the auto tuned garbage that's popular now.

I think when people say they hate a singer or band they don't actually mean the person, they just hate the music. It would be strange to hate someone because you hate the music.

They are not in the same group (terms of talent), only in the level of hatred I have found on the internet.

The average opinion that people think they're being different by saying but really aren't the slightest bit different. Come on, guys, saying Green Day is getting old is, well, getting old.

People actually hate Green Day? I'll kill anyone who says they hate Green Day to my face. Grrr.
Maybe Justin Bieber? I heard he's not that bad, other than the fact that his music sucks, I don't have a big problem with him.

Eminem.
His raps are impressive, but it all boils down to "omg he cussed i hate him he sucks he's terrible". I call that "Learn to listen to music, it doesn't matter if it curses".

Well... I get a lot of hate because I like Justin Bieber.. I mean all my friends hate him.. If I'm like " oh have you heard justin biebers..." and before I even finish they are just like " ew justin bieber ". I don't mind I mean it's their opinion but I don't like the way people hate on him for no reason...? What's the point? Yeah I would understand if his music is not what you like but why hate on him? He is a good role model...
Another person I think who dosnt deserve hate is Rebecca Black. I actually like the song Friday. Yeah , the lyics are not great but the tune and chorus are really catchy and I love her new song my moment.. She hasn't done anything wrong to deserve all this hate and death threats?!?!?
I also like Jedward.. They get a lot of hate too which is really unfair be beacuse as TDD said they have improved! And they did well in the eurovision.. Better than Ireland have done in years...! I hate when people say they're an embarassment to our country.. That's not true.. Dustin the turkey was an embarassment lol.
I am not fan of the classics like the Beatles and stuff... Just don't like the music but I don't hate on the people!!
Wow this was hard to type on an iPod

I liked his first four albums, but then he released Encore, which only had a few good songs, and too many songs like "Puke" and "Just Lose It". Relapse is the same, and Recovery was only average.
